Default Do you get emotional when watching films?

Just been to see Toy Story 4 and got a lump in my throat on a few occasions. I'm a great bloody softie for stuff like that.. usually manage to get away with it but sometimes have to wait a couple of seconds before talking so my voice doesn't crack.

Schindler's List made me well up.

I'm not a big crier in general, but the film with Keira Knightly called Never Let Me Go (I think) did really get me.

Sometimes, more now than I used too. Probably because my mental state nowadays is so fragile.

Sometimes. It depends on what mood I'm in.

My five year old can't handle sad moments in movies whatsoever - even if it's overall a happy story. He just sobs and sobs.

I can't wait to see Toy Story 4!

Quite often, I find it's the music that does it half the time. But I pretend not to as I don't like other people seeing

Yep, I've never made it the whole way through Schindler's List, I generally mainly cry but also just get a whole load of horror at humanity in general because it's such recent history. I can't watch Carlito's Way anymore without bursting into tears and I even cried in the Disney cartoon version of Robin Hood when I was younger. I don't dare watch the Lion King.

Nope. I'm not emotionally flat whilst watching films, but i wouldn't say i was emotional.

That said, i'm struggling to think of a time when i was properly moved

I see the American term "movies" is gradually creeping into our vocab (some of us, anyway! Along with "high school")...

Films with dogs get me every time. Hatchi, A Dog's Purpose... you name it, I've blubbed through it.

There would have to be something seriously wrong with you if you didn't blub, at least a bit, through that.

Only very, very rarely. I don't know why, and I've always been a bit jealous of people who can watch a sad film when they need to blub. Then again, tonight I went to see book smart, and I don't know if it's because I forgot to order a repeat prescription of setraline so am all over the place with a bit of withdrawal or it just touched a nerve, but I physically teared up twice.
