Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ Exactly! Once you enter your 40's time speeds up alarmingly and before you know it you hit 50 and then it's all down hill after that. From my observations of relatives, you might get another burst of energy at around 75, if you haven't died before then...
Thinking it's way TOO hot out there |

Testify Limey and Consolida! As for getting older, I sometimes get reflective on my own mortality. Especially when I think back to my prime years. I was like a lion in those days. I had an impressive mane. I was even able to cock my leg up once in a while. Although that could have been linked to my meds.
Anyway, I think this heat might be affecting me right now. |

I just can't get my head straight, feeling hopeless for the most ridiculous reasons. I've had enough of having my life ruined slowly by this rubbish.

Wondering what the git/s who cloned my reg plate are up too. I mean surely you've got to be doing something dodgy?
Bedfordshire police wrote to me saying that the pictures I sent proved my car wasn't the one they caught on the speed cameras and are still trying to track the vehicle down. Annoyingly I'll never know the outcome I don't suppose. |

My mum seems to regularly feel the need to comment on my moadiness and seems to forgot that she often makes things a lot worse by moaning about everything. Yesterday she passed comment about maybe this would make you happy, and you never used to be this moody sometimes these comments are quite spiteful and uncalled for * please don't quote.

Who the hell goes to bed on a friday night at 8pm, what a damn waste, I might as well just book myself into a codger home.
I even set my alarm for 10pm, I wanted a nap..get back up and attempt to do something more productive when I was feeling less of a zombie. No I woke up at 10 and stuck my phone on silent and went back to sleep Ahhh this job is ruining my life in more ways than one |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Having managed to get my sleep pattern sorted and started exercising everyday, I'm thinking should I continue this at the weekends or just spend the weekends snoozing and stuffing my face.

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
My childhood friend who I've been in and out of contact the last few years (mostly because of me because I'm a twat who ignores friends when I'm peopled out)
But I've known this guy since we were 6-7. He rocked up at my door yesterday with a pram containing a 3 month old (it wasn't planned) Part of me thinks wow we are getting old or "adult" - even though I'm aware I could easily be the father of a 10+ year old but it reminds me how much I've stagnated since being about 14. Then I look at him, knackered while he explains to me its not even remotely magical, hes exhausted, he has no free time and apart from the odd smile he gets off the child hes really not living the dream, buts its happened and hes doing the right thing. While I give my new car a pat on the bonnet and go back to my ps4 in my pyjamas enjoying my day off Maybe stagnation isnt so bad if thats the alternative! |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^
Thinking how much I am missing out on by not being able to confidently interact with other people. A neighbour made me something at one of her Art classes and bought it over yesterday morning. As I wasn't available my husband took delivery of it. Of course, that meant that I couldn't settle until I'd gone and knocked on my neighbours door to thank her. For most people knocking on someone's door is no big deal but not for me... Anyway, I did it and she asked me in for a cup of tea! It was kind of nice chatting although I was SO far out of my comfort zone. In some ways I think it would be easier if I'd hated every minute instead of liking having someone to talk to. She mentioned one or two social activities that I was welcome to go a long to with her and another friend and I of course said I'd think about it while knowing full well that I would never be able to commit to them. I hate SA. |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Well she must like you, or at least be willing to give you a chance. What kind of social activities? Anything good?

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ An hour chatting over a cup of tea wouldn't have given her enough time to detect my weirdness - or maybe it did, and she felt sorry for me.
She attends an arts and crafts group. This would be right up my street but I know I wouldn't cope with the social side of things. She also mentioned a mindfulness and yoga group but said something about a creek and not needing to know how to swim. Well, there's no way I'd be stripping down to my underwear for anybody! I would have liked to have asked for more details but I was worried it would give the impression that I was keen and that I'd end up saying I'd do something then regretting it like hell when I got back home. It's all by the by anyway because it isn't ever going to happen. |
