Default Use of Ignore

Is it possible to configure Ignores so that threads started by people on your ignore list are hidden?

I just had a quick look at the documentation and I think I can do this. This would mean that if someone ignores someone, they won't see any threads that person started at all (including replies from other people).
I'm not quite sure that is what most people want though-and if I do this, it would apply to everyone, not a user defined option.
What do those of you who use 'ignore' think?

Hello Anne. Yes it would suit me for the entire thread to be invisible, but of course you knew that as I'd asked for it.

I guessed.

I thought of one way in which you could choose this-I have to test it out first, but will post again as soon as I have time to try it.

Removed the rest of this thread as it was totally inappropriate for the garage forum.
