Default always in the kitchen at parties

Anyone read this book by this title? Got it from the Library today. It is an sa self help book.

A counsellor I had ages ago suggested 'I keep myself busy in the kitchen' at parties as a way of managing SA.

Oh and making myself 'chief ash tray emptier'.

I can understand where the counsellor is coming from. But i dont think thats the best way to go about keeping yourself busy at a party!

Yeah I wouldn't advise anyone to buy it yet as i don't know what its like yet if you can get it cheap or from the library might be worth taking a look.


Forgot that song but think I've heard it before.

Hey, the title of this thread is me...woohoo! At least helping ppl with food and drinks makes for a small convo starter...Not quite got to emptying ash trays yet though lol!

I only go to family related parties, with those the kitchen is actually the last place I'd go. Most people in my family seem to like to hang around the kitchen, usually more people there then anywhere else lol

If its not a party and just a small number of people have come to visit however I will tend to busy myself in the kitchen.
