Really drained and stressed. We've been killing it business wise, and I should be due a juicy bonus after Christmas is all done with it. Which is nice...but it would need to be about 5x the money to justify how it's made me feel! And sadly with such a messed up work schedule having plans, doing the social stuff that keeps me well etc. hasn't been possible.

Not bad. Wanted to go to Sainsbury's this morning, but decided to just stay in today, as I've been out every day since Wednesday last week.

There are reasons to be alive, even when you are as low and depressed as I feel all the time, and have been feeling for the last 10 years, I mean try not to isolate people because you never know who might be feeling suicidal. There isn't any need to isolate yourselves.

@ girlinterrupted - please don't feel that you shouldn't post here because you have been away for quite awhile. It's at times like this when you need to reach out to others for support, even if it just serves as a temporary distraction from your feelings of loss and despair. It's natural to feel guilt (hell, I feel it too) but you must know, in your heart of hearts, that your love and friendship will have brought much solace to your friend over the years (and indeed to other special folk who are no longer here too). It may sound silly, but I like to think that Ozzy and Ren are perhaps somewhere putting the world to rights.

Can't believe that it's Christmas next week, this year has flown by.

Worried. Tomorrow I'm going to stay with my parents for a week and they said they have something important to talk to me about, but didn't want to say what it was over the phone. It sounded ominous and now I'm worrying about all kinds of things it could be.

I've never felt less prepared for Christmas

I have a million chores that never get done, parcels to do up, and I'm still sitting here in my pyjamas. My perfect Christmas would be hiding under the duvet surrounded by cats until Christmas is over. Instead we will be putting the cats in the Cattery, driving for over 4 - 5 hours, and struggling to put on a happy face in front of loved ones because I don't want to spoil the festivities for them.

Generally crappy, I have a headache. But after we (my partner and I, not the royal we) get something over with today then maybe we'll be able to feel a bit more christmasy.
