Where did this topic go "Did you log on on Christmas day"?

Some 5 or 6 days ago, the topic "Did you log onto SAUK on Christmas day" (or similar wording) disappeared from the site "to be removed for editing".

It doesn't look like it has made it back yet, can anyone explain what the problem was?

From memory, I think it was posted in The Lounge, it could have been The Basement although the subject matter would perhaps suggest not!

Hi Paul,

The thread was removed as it was on a slippery slope to deletion. It was decided that if it were to return, in spite of editing, the likelihood of it descending into personal insults and the like would be probable, and so had to be avoided.

It seems a shame to delete a whole discussion topic for one or two editable comments, but thanks for the info.

Well, i think i was the last person to post in that thread and i'm sure i didn't make a personal attack unless pointing out that the OP had buried themselves into a very big hole they couldn't get out of is considered a personal attack. Maybe it should of been deleted as the whole thread turned into a bit of a war.

Would of been nice to of been told if i was responsible but then you can't have everything.
