Default 10 most instragrammable Autumn walks

The top ten Instagrammable autumn walks in the country are as follows:

Ambleside, Lake District
Castleton, Peak District
Castle Combe, Wiltshire
Dartmoor National Park
Chipping Campden, Cotswolds
Faskally Forest, Perthshire
The Hermitage, Dunkeld
Porthloe, Cornwall
Vallis Vale, Somerset
Ickworth Estate, Suffolk

Live near any of them, done any of them?

I've done Dartmoor. Never even heard of Portloe, or Vallie Vale. (the counties near me)

The Hermitage, Dunkeld - not in Autumn though.

It was one of my mums fav places. She lived there before I was born and worked in one of the tea rooms. And my dad was born and bred Perthshire. I've walked it many a time when I was a kid. Beautiful place.

I think I've been to Castletown we went to Eyam for our Year 6 residential. I found the druids fascinating so it was a really interesting and beautiful place to visit.

[ sas-uh-nuhkh, -nak ] show ipa. nounOften Disparaging. a term used by the Gaelic inhabitants of the British Isles to refer to the English inhabitants.

Ohh! I swear they used that term in Outlander. The 6ft Scots guy to Claire(?) 'my Sasannach'.
(I only one watched one series of it, I know it's predominately a series aimed at women. lol)

Quite possibly. It's a widely known term. (I've never watched Outlander).

I use it humorously rather than disparagingly - it's a standard joke in my family. My dad's mother was actually English. So my Grandfather who's name was John was nicknamed locally as Sassenach Jock or Johnny Sassenach cause he married English.

Top 10 according to whom? I can guarantee that Scotland has 10 autumn walks that surpass everything listed here...
Though I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but sheep farms like the Lake District are not my idea of beauty...and I say that as someone born and raised by the Lake District.
