^^^ Is the Welsh guy in a longterm, open relationship and started seeing you on the understanding that you are friends with benefits but you have been spending a considerable amount of time together.

Do you know how he is in a open relationship?

^ Friends with benefits was how it started but things have changed a little bit since then.

Earlier in the week talk got deep and he ended up sat at the end of my bed teary as if he wanted to say something but couldn't. I eventually got him to talk and basically the big L-word was said and I said it back, because f**k I do. Turns out he's felt like it since before Christmas, just like I probably have if I'm being honest with myself. And since we've opened the L can the words just keep coming out.

He's spoken to his partner about stuff (though I think he might have just described it as 'feelings for each other') and they're moving to a more polyamorous situ.

I'm not sure what to do about things. It's confusing. I know he must truly care about me given the tears and all the little things he's doing for me (it's actually a bit too much at times). But it feels like a big risk for me to continue stuff together and I've told him this (this time, I was teary) - he thinks it's the same for him. It also feels horrible because though I want to respect his existing relationship it's hard to when you feel this way.

He told me yesterday he's never felt like this about anyone before (again with tears, though I'm still a bit skeptical). It all feels amazing but at the same time I can't shake the feeling that we're going to end up hurting each other. I've told him that but he seems more optimistic about it - I'm not sure how though.

Either way, at the moment I can't say no to a face I get more happiness from seeing than almost anything else. (And it's soooooooooooooo cute - his cheeky smile makes me too gooey.) So my current thinking is to f**k future concerns and enjoy what we have now.

That when you lose internet and get a message up saying - please check your connection (or whatever it says), the little black and white t-rex dinosaur at the top of the page is actually a game.

If you press space bar the dinosaur moves and you have to jump cactus's.
Whilst you wait to reconnect.

I was learning about how film works this morning and read that there is no viable vegetarian alternative to the emulsion coating used on it, which is made from gelatin. Apparently PETA only use photos taken with digital for that reason.

How much weight I've lost since around October time. I'd assumed it was a kilogram - 2 at the very most - but it's actually 5 or 6.

My diet hasn't changed that much and I'm sure I'm doing less exercise than I was before October, so where it's gone is a bit of a mystery. It means I'm technically now in the underweight bit on the BMI (but only just). I did wonder why it was getting so uncomfortable to sit on thinly cushioned chairs and park benches. Simultaneously, my stupid mind quite likes the way my body looks like this (tight trunks sit so nicely), so I'm conscious of putting too much back on.

Now that is a proper fact - that's what they should be teaching in schools, not all this three Rs and science rubbish (well, I suppose it's geography, technically, but never mind).

If that doesn't impress everyone down at the pub, change pubs!

This morning I looked at my inner arm (at the elbow bend) and wondered what it smells like. So I sniffed it and it smells so since. A bit like Shea butter or Lindt chocolate.

I implore you all to sniff your inner elbow bend first thing when you wake up tomorrow morning. You're in for a treat.

That an old school mate of mine lives in the area i deliver .... which was a bit of a fright seeing him, then him recognising me and then having to engage. It was an address i rarely, rarely deliver to but i found out he'd been there for two years! We didn't go into much, he seems to be doing okay, similar to how i knew him.... a bit heavier.

I would also try, but something tells me it won't be like Shea butter or Lindt chocolate. Although if it's anything like my wrist, then it''ll be more like a dusty library book. No idea why.

^
Reminds me of the time I bumped into a classmate of mine last year. I hadn't seen him since I was 16. I remember thinking at the time that he looks older. But on the way home, while looking at my reflection in the bus window, I realised I look older as well. I even considered giving up my seat for myself at one point. But then I thought better of it

I was also going to mention something about what I didn't know until recently. I even had it all planned on what I was going to say. Then I got distracted. But like the great Rutger Hauer once said, and which I can certainly relate to:

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain

Although I can't really relate to the whole attack ships on Orion thing. Or even the C-beams near Tannhäuser Gate. But definitely the "tears in rain part" is relatable I think. Or something like that.

Yeah, all in all it was quite a positive experience and i look forward to seeing him again cos, moments after, loads of 'i should've asked him about', etc. questions came to mind. It's been twenty years since i'd seen him last.... which blows my mind a bit.

^ & ^^ Guys, please do it when you wake up tomorrow morning. It smells so nice! Report back you findings.

Belly button fluff fascinates me. I don't get how it comes to be. Wonder if there is a TED Talk on it?

I've got an innie, how come fluff never comes to stay at mine? Have I got an inhospitable belly button? Do you just put the fluff there (from the tumble-drier-fluff-collector box) for decoration? Or does it just randomly turn up? Is it there every day?

What confuses me about belly button fluff is that, no matter what colour clothing I wear, the fluff is always either navy blue or grey.

Because of this, I theorise that the belly button actually discharges grey or navy blue fluffy matter. Look into it.

^ this is why cats cough up furballs but humans don't. We have a lint trap much like tumble-dryers do, which expels fluff through the navel. I'm expecting an Ig Nobel prize for my research any day now.

I know what you mean Spud. It's sometimes good to catch up with someone you haven't seen for a while. Although I had to censor my thoughts at one point. As I wanted to ask him if his joints are also creaking these days. Thank God for censorship

Well I could certainly try that suggestion biscuits, but I find my overall odour is at it's highest in the morning. Which could have devastating consequences for my sinuses. But I will try my best to achieve that when I feel braver in the future

That my mum is very good at cutting hair.

I picked up a clipper set from Amazon with graded guards because the sides of my hair were getting far too long for me to deal with and I decided anything is better than them continuing to bush outwards. I wasn't expecting an especially good cut, but I genuinely think she's done a better job than most hairdressers I've been to. There's more of a severe step than I'd usually have where the longer stuff on top meets the shaved bits at the side and back, but I think it looks pretty good. I still won't be tipping though.

The idea of vacuuming your head after a trim. Personally I'd prefer a hair dryer.
