Electric scooter. Just took it out for a spin. I haven't had this much fun since my son was conceived.

Bread, cereal, apples and.... chocolate!!

I think i need to broaden my snack options cos there's far too much reliance on dark chocolate. I do have some cashews leftover but they're the dregs and are super salty. It annoys me that they salt them in the first place - is that to preserve them? Can you unsalt them? Rinse them under a tap? .... Hoover them through a strainer?

^ It goes 15.5 mph, which is faster than it sounds. My commute to work has never been so fun.

You can actually hack the scooter to remove the speed limit

Hahahahaha you're really getting your money's worth outta that hoover!

For some reason, unsalted nuts are always mega expensive! I buy unsalted pistachio nuts in their shells and they're always more expensive than the salt ones and have one less ingredient. Guess they are classed as health foods so they always jack up the price for that.

You can get unsalted pecans as well, yep! They're really pricey though because they're considered a super food so have the superfood tax added.

Unsalted nuts are usually in the health food section where the dry lentils etc. are and sometimes they have them in the baking section. And sometimes they have them in the cereal bar/snacking areas in smaller packets - mixed with seeds and raisins.

Yeah, i'm shopping at Lidl so i'm a bit limited, and it's only a mild annoyance anyway. There's bound to be a simple way to unsalt them, i'll look into that.

^ Coulda sworn they have an unsalted range. I've definitely got unsalted pistachios from there. Or am I thinking of Aldi?

It's not clear if these are salted, doe the packaging match the packet you have?

It's not a randy thing, just sounds amusingly strange. Although who knows? I've never seen it, could be my thing.

Sounds ample, though tempting to hack it...just to see

Packet? These are loose cashews i'm talking about. There are three types in the Lidl i shop: cashew, almond and pistacchio.

I'll keep my eye out for the packets but the value probably lies in the loose one's.

The first time I’ve pre ordered a brand new phone model.

If I had the money I would probably get the 11pro. However this se 2 is good value for money, only £17 a month for 24 months, the variant I ordered which is a white SE 2 with 128gb storage with mostly 11pro specs minus the screen camera and probably speakers.

Food shopping, amounting to £79 ... !!

My cashew expenditure has plateaued, which is one small nugget of good. I spent £15 on booze - hopefully the majority of it will be left for Saturday night. A fiver on dark chocolate - why on earth can't i buy a large bar of this shit.. ?? I have to buy four 125g bars in their little cardboard jackets, like it's a luxury item - just give me a big chunk of it ffs and cut the packaging!

Yeah, i bought a little more than usual but it's still surprising when it's tallied up and presented to you. Next weeks shop will be cheaper.... hopefully.

What do you spend on your weekly?

I've cut back recently - I suppose I spend about £40 pw but also might buy bits and bobs (when not in lock down) from other places. Not sure what that would bump it to.
It's also more if I buy booze or toiletries.

I could cutback to a £40 spend - looking at the receipt, the booze, chocolate and peanuts alone amount to the best part of £30.

I need the little pleasures though!

I haven't used physical currency in nearly two months, and now go weeks without touching my wallet.

What a strange sentence to write
