Like I don't know what I'm supposed to do to feel good about myself, as the rules don't make any sense. Do positive things = feel bad. Be self-destructive = feel proud. Be self-destructive in the wrong ways (i.e. overeating) = feel bad. Don't do positive things = feel guilty and lazy.

Acted pretty shitty to myself tonight, and it didn't even take much provocation, just a thought of, 'So, shall we get the knife out? Yeah, why not.'

Sorry you're struggling, Luke

I'm feeling better after the Flu, apart from wanting to sleep all the time. I don't know how much of that is down to my body being tired from fighting the infection or whether it's depression, because depression usually makes me want to take to my bed and sleep the days away.

Thanks, Lee

I know the feeling of wanting to sleep all the time due to depression. I guess that's a possibility for why you feel so tired, but you have been quite ill, so it's worth giving yourself a little time to rest and recover. Rule that out as a cause first, you know?

^ These attacks on your car must really be getting you down. Some people are just utter scum. Is there any way you could set a camera up to try and catch them?

^ I agree. It can't be easy dealing with that. It would get me really down and very paranoid. I know it's probably 'just kids' but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with. No one likes to be singled out for these kind of attacks. Hope they get bored or caught soon.

Yeah same here - even more so as I love my car and the independence it gives. I'd want to do harm to the bastards.

I have holes in my flat boots and can't walk or stand in my heeled boots for too long without back ache so I feel very restricted. Probably sounds silly, but I love walking, and in this weather I have a choice of wet and cold feet or a bad back.

Was going to get myself some new boots tomorrow but little one has had a growth spurt and needs new uniform. I can't afford both.

So, i'm feeling pretty crap about that.

Everyone's in a relationship too so everyone's out in pairs then there is always me on my own with nothing to talk about, it really does make me not want to go out with relatives again I just feel out of place and like I come across as miserable when Im just incredibly anxious
Makes you realise just how different you are from everyone else doesn't it I don't mean you specifically.

Been down all day, if I can't carry on a simple conversation in a situation I kind of dream of all the time what hope is there for me.

I keep getting those panicky moments where I'm suddenly aware that no one's coming to rescue me, I'm not owed a solution for my problems, and if I don't figure things out for myself then nobody's going to prevent me fading away entirely. Having no confidence in my ability, and feeling completely lost and scared for it, but realising I have to rely on finding the ability to save myself regardless. And I'm my own worst enemy, I actively sabotage my own well-being and always have, so... yeah, not good.

And I'm becoming desperately lonely at times, but I feel like you need to offer people something positive for them to want to know you, and I'm kind of weighed down with trying to keep the negatives under control, if anything. I want to get as far away from who I am as possible, which means the last thing I want to do is impose who I am on other people. I don't want to be alone, but the idea of approaching anyone feels like dumping a bin bag full of dead rats on their doorstep. How do you do that and not feel like utter scum for it?

Sorry you're feeling much the same, Dean.

Yeah, sometimes I try to tell myself that feeling so bad is what's going to drive me to better myself, and it's true, though I have bad habits of forcing it too far. 'Feeling bad is a source of motivation? I better go out of my way to feel as awful as possible, then.'

It's terrifying to think that there's some inevitable confrontation looming, more so that it's completely necessary, because not confronting your demons will be worse, it'd mean living under their rule for the rest of your life. And I think... hang on, this isn't a film or a book where I've been written as the hero, there are absolutely no guarantees. I'm not seeing any evidence that I'd win, or that it's even remotely a fair fight. And then there's the whole aspect of how I kind of suspect I am my demon, or at least it's so woven into who I am that 'winning' would require destroying myself.

Urgh, I need to sleep off these thoughts.

^ What he said Craig

I too feel overwhelmed with things sometimes and it then only takes one more thing for me to go into meltdown. I have to force myself to prioritise and think about the most important thing first and forget all the rest until that is sorted. Easier said than done I know, but always worth a try x

How I wish that I could be different, I would also like someone to share my oddness with, instead of feeling like I'll be on my own forever!

Cold and annoyed. It's struggling to spew ice rain here *shiver*.

I finally made it to the PO on my way home, to pick up my new phone (that parcelforce didn't deliver, then lost, then delivered on the wrong day when I was out) thinking hooray! only to find that the sim card doesn't fit ffs. I even looked it up online to make sure there wasn't something odd I should be doing 1st and it was me just being dumb, but no....just a wrong sim. *sigh* I do wonder why I bother sometimes. Nothing is ever just straightforward like it should be.

****ing angry.

YET AGAIN my neighbour asks me to collect her boy from school and watch him for half an hour, it's been an hour now and she is still now back. And he is such a little shit!

I know you are not supposed to talk about children that way but he really is. My daughter has been in tears twice already because he winds her up. I have no fear of telling him off as I would my own (and his mum knows this as I do it when she is here and ignoring his behaviour) but I am now feeling like she is just taking the piss and my daughter is suffering. Now they are at the other extreme of getting on ok but squealing and laughing too loudly!

Dry January can **** off, always need a drink after he has been here.
