I'm still going and am prepared to wait outside the pub next to the river from say 2:45pm. Have met a few and would recognise those who've posted photos in the past. Mine's here - http://azure.bbboy.net/sauk-viewthre...280&postnum=20

Hi guys,

Sorry I've been dragging my feet on this...

I can't make it to the meet before 4:00pm, but if anyone arriving at 4:00pm or later wants to meet me outside Doggets then call my mobile when you get there:

mobile number: 0775 2781215

Looking forward to meeting everyone. (Emote: beerchug)

just got back after a crap train journey! (conductor arrived 10 mins late, had to change trains at swindon cos there was no available driver, then had to get coach to train station in bristol, argh!)

it was a pleasure meeting you guys and being part of positive thought provoking chats. (Emote: smileyellow)

Having walked round the pub and beer garden four times in search of familiar faces I gave up and headed off just after 3:30. How many showed up?

glad you guys had a good time. i walked past the Doggetts on my way to the Jo Newsom gig, but i didn't show my face as it sounded like it was going to be all men and no womens at all. didn't want to be the odd one out...
hope i'll have the guts to come to something like this in the future though

Good to see everyone, particularly people i hadn't met before, those i've seen before and not spoken to previously and of course those i'm familiar with. Sorry to have missed you brightonian, there were just the two of us at 3:30 seated outside, think most turned up around four.
Here's some photos i took, London beach!

Kool pics Steve. (Emote: smile)

I really enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to the next meet. Maybe next time we can have a non-pub meet and go somewhere like Covent Garden - just an idea?

Brightonian - I am really sorry you didn't find us guys. (Emote: sad)

Phil - We'll have to arrange a local meet sometime. (Emote: beerchug)

Robbie - It was good seeing you again, even though you didn't remember meeting me years ago!

Des - Can you let me know the name of the books you had, especially the book about REM sleep?

Porriq - I wish we could have had a longer talk, but hope to see you at the next meet.

Antonio and Steve - I'll see you guys again on Sunday at http://bb.bbboy.net/londongroup-view...m=1&thread=221. (Emote: smile)

Threadbare - If I'd known you was going to the Newsom gig I would have PMed you. Anyway, I'm glad you managed to get tickets and hope you enjoyed the gig. (Emote: hippie)

hiya
I only found this thread about an over 30s get together when it was already too late, and I would have loved to come. Can someone organise another?

Hi Jay - sorry for the delay ,
the book that mentions rem is called
HOW TO LIFT DEPRESSION FAST by Joe Griffen & Ivan Tyrell

The other book which i'm finding really interesting is called
CONQUER YOUR CRITICAL INNER VOICE by Firestone
This one explains where your inner voice that slags you off when you make a mistake , or when it undermines your confidence comes from e.g. when you break a plate and 'you' say to yourself ' i'm so fcuking stupid, i'm always doing that etc' and it deals with more than just breaking plates ...
This is quite informative and worth reading .

Also i just went on a 1 - day hypnotherapy course given by a bona-fide expert who says that my phobias will be gone in 3 weeks -so, as they say , watch this space !!

I'm definitely up for this meeting. I've only just identified my SA and was begining to think it was a problem for people in there 20's. It's damn well not.

This will be my first meeting, and really I'm looking forward to it.
