I think if you get a sim free one you don't need to top up but I'm not certain, tesco or argos might be a good option!

That's true, I use giffgaff, and often go 6 months between Topups. Ive never had a "Goodybag" either.

I use the Three 3-2-1 pay as you go sim.

You top up when you run out - i've gone months without topping up. Check it out (scroll down just a little bit).

I'm with Vodafone pay as you go. You just top up whenever you want., which for me isn't very often as I don't use it very much.

I'm also on the Three 3-2-1 deal. Pretty much perfect for what I need.

I had PAYG EE and Vodafone and you can ring them/ use online chat to ask to be put on pay per call/text rather than the top up pack that costs £10 a time.

They all do pay as you go, I am with Sainsbury's at the moment but that network is closing in January so I am looking to going EE last time I used that it was T mobile.
