Hi all - yet another new arrival.....

Hi! my name is Jo and I'm new to this site, so all helpful tips and advice will be greatly appreciated. I have suffered with SA for so many years but it was only diagnosed in 2002! I have struggled an battled with SA for so long and have at long last reached the stage where I accept that I'm not as daft/ugly etc as i think...but alas, I still struggle when having to meet new people. More than anything I want to be able to socialise and have fun! but need a bit of a kick start or else I just hide away from it - and the more that you do this, the more life passes you by.
In conjunction with my SA I have recently moved to Oxfordshire with my 2 children and so have left my support network of family and friends behind in wales. I would love to swap ideas and theories with people, make new friends who understand how difficult life can be at times....any takers? I;m a great listener and can offer loads of support and understanding but need a helping hand myself at times....???
