Ah, I know what you mean....my boss asked me to attend a lunch event this Thursday, but I told him that I've got too much work on. Part of me really wants to go, cos' I'm fed up of letting this control me, and avoiding stuff...but I know it would really stress me out, and I'm trying to deal with things slowly rather than being 'thrown in at the deep end'...
