Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
Finally got round to writing a email to PALS about the ATS.
I was going to let my little gripes pass but as I am still waiting for the letter/report from the psychologist I've decided enough is enough. I had the assessment in March, had to ring up and remind them I existed after 3 months to find out the outcome (discharged because there is no clinical pathway for me) but she said I will send you and your GP a letter/report which would summarise the assessment and with her suggestions and recommendations (which were pretty much counselling). Well after another 2 month, no letter/report so I emailed her asking could this please be sent to me as soon as possible. That was 3 weeks ago - no response what so ever. Soo **** it I shall go through PALS. And have now added along side the above all the other stuff - reneging on a shrink appointment, reneging on anxiety treatment, trying to fob me off to time to talk, changing lead practitioners without informing me, lying about staff leaving then being caught out, the list is endless.... Strangely I found writing the email to PALS quite therapeutic. I've kept it very polite and factual. Will read it over again later and then send. Oh and as a bit of constructive criticism i have asked : Can they please refrain from suggesting to ppl with social anxiety to join groups like meet up.com - it belittles a life limiting and deeply upsetting condition which the NHS still refuses to take seriously or indeed do anything about other than the standard 6 sessions of overgeneralized time to talk nonsense CBT. If a person with SA could go to meet up.com they wouldn't be trying to access help from the ATS. to much? Tbh i'm past caring and I've nothing to lose. |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
Looking at my emails. Have got a 2nd one back from PALS. I've been allocated an officer for my case (sounds a bit scary!). There going to have discussions with operational management about my complaints/feedback. And aim to get back to me within 25 working days.
I'm concerned that there is sussexparnertership.nhs.uk (the same as the trust I'm complaining about) in their email contact. Doesn't seem that independent to me..... Might have to do some digging. And have a look at Healthwatch for Sussex. |

Snooping.
Odd goings-on with the downstairs neighbour i've noticed the past couple of days, and now a large vans turned up outside. I really, really hope he's not moving out. He's been sooo quiet the whole time i've been here. I did look to see whether it's being advertised and nothing appears for my area .... |

Any more signs of his moving? I know what you mean though, quiet neighbours are worth hanging onto. |

^^ Not that i can tell. I was tempted to have a peek through their kitchen window, after pulling up a while ago, to see if it looked vacated but resisted the urge. Time will tell. As much as i'd like to know it's also nice not knowing for certain because it'll only make me worry about the new tenant/s

Haha I was doing the exact same thing this morning, my least problematic neighbour has moved out and I thought someone was moving in...literally had a peek out the peep hole It was workmen, I'm a little bit anxious over who will move in.

Bloody neighbours!
At least with you it sounds more likelier that you get a 'better' neighbour. I don't think mine could be bettered really. He was almost entirely predictable too e.g. out to work early, back after 5, go to bed early (i could hear him snore), no visitors, occasional low volume music .... yeah, he'll be missed. |

Right! Unfortunately not, she was my favourite neighbour and kinda similar to yours, kept themselves to themselves but was friendly when we saw each other.
I'm predicting a young couple with noisy children (which isn't really that bad I guess) Hope your new one isn't too bad! |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
Ooh, i took it that they were problematic but not as bad as the other neighbour! Right, bummer. Hopefully you get a good replacement then.
Mine has definitely gone. This morning his mum was here cleaning - made me realise that i had never heard a hoover downstairs the whole time i was here! He was elsewhere last night, which is a first. Cars not here now. I'm 95% sure he's gone |
