Windows 10/general pc issue
Since I upgraded to windows 10 my laptop screen has been flickering with these black lines. I've tried updating/reinstalling drivers but nothing seems to be working. They only appear when I'm scrolling or loading something up. Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks in advance |

Re: Windows 10/general pc issue
My advice to you is, check the laptop manufacturer's website for an updated graphics driver. That's what this particular type of problem usually comes down to in my experience, WHQL drivers don't always play well with OEM hardware.

^ agreed
There may not be windows 10 drivers for it yet but I have found most windows 8 drivers can be made to work. Do you know what graphics card you have ? If not then click start and type in the search box "device manager". Open it and look down for "display drivers", click the little plus sign and you will get your card model. |

Re: Windows 10/general pc issue
Thanks for the help chaps.
I found some new windows 10 ready drivers but no joy. Running on 'microsoft basic display adapter' driver now which, though I'm sure is a bit crap, seems to be the only thing that will stop the flickering. |
