Christmas chocolates are still available at half price too (I think maybe Hotel Chocolat didn't have as good a Christmas as expected).

^ Chocolate does actually help to lift your mood (well I find it does anyway). Also if you still have Quality Street left from Christmas you're doing very well, anything remotely christmas food related was gone before new year in my house!

^ I bought the tin of Quality Street just a week or two ago for my very skinny son (I am meant to be dieting) and he had only eaten about a quarter of the contents before stashing it away in his cupboard. Unfortunately (for me and him) there is no lock on this cupboard so, bad mother that I am, I grabbed a HUGE handful. He stared back at me, eyes filled with pity, as if to say ...Has this woman got no self control!

I definitely felt a slight lift in my mood, Dougella, especially while the rich dark chocolate slowly melted in my mouth to give way to a sweet strawberry fondant...
But the despair quickly descended when I thought of the calories I’d consumed. Was it worth it? Nooo

Asian Garlic Tofu
It was ok, maybe 6.5/10 but took while to prep and was fiddly frying all the little tofu cubes, so probably won't make it again.

^^ I'd have done the same! I can't imagine leaving chocolate in a cupboard and not eating it, but some people aren't as keen on chocolate as me

Don't beat yourself up about it, it's easily done, many of us have been there especially in a depressive time.

Made that curry I like again, but replaced the tofu with lentils and chickpeas and had some sliced banana on the side too. Was beautiful.

Lmao! Where do you get that mix? Or you make it yourself?

No, I eat rice+curry+slice of banana in a mouth full, it's so nice. I used to have boiled eggs with it too before I was vegan. *drools*

Used the seitan I made in a stir fry, was so nice, nicer than the shop bought meat replacements I've tried and much cheaper. So this is a keeper.

^ What kind?

I was eating cashew nuts earlier and after trying to ask me a question my partner said, "oh, you can't talk, you have a mouth full of nuts" and I giggled, because I am very immature
