^ Loads of people wearing masks there. Also i think what they say there is very valid.

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
Protesters, people going to the beach, and MPs voting in parliament should all wear these. Actually, everyone.

I hadn't realised they'd stopped publishing schNEWS. I remember reading it in Grubbs whilst waiting for my veggie burger.

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
I had mine tied up with an elastic band yesterday because it keeps getting in my face haha
I never realised how difficult it was to tie your hair up (with an elastic band). I don't have one elastic band that hasn't snapped lol Ok, whose going first? |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ Well done!
I don't know if visiting the hairdresser is an SA trigger for you but if it is, then it will be good that you can give yourself a cool haircut in the future - plus it will save you some pennies My hair, on the other hand, is getting so long and tatty that I'm starting to look like an eccentric bag lady Give me some strength!!! I phone up an elderly relative to see how they are doing and then find myself and my husband being castigated because another elderly relative didn't like a view we expressed on Facebook!! Apparently the fact that we think that statues like the slave trader in London should be taken down because they are totally inappropriate to be shown in public in this day and age and put into a museum with a plague recording the good and bad about that character, is horrifying to that relative As the conversation descended into comments that I regarded as outright racist and would not post here and anything I said to the contrary wasn't going to make an atom of difference I cut the phone call short by saying I needed the toilet. I feel bad for doing this, but no matter how much I might care for a family member I refuse to listen to outdated intolerant and racist drivel. Why can't some people at least try to imagine what it might feel like to live in another persons shoes?! Please don't quote this! I just seriously had to let off some steam before I explode! |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^ Oh no, it is disappointing to realise that some older people (and some younger who have no excuse not to know better!) still hold racist views, they're just going to have to come to terms with the fact that the world has changed.

At first glance I thought the extra cat was a very long shadow. Seen some ridiculous prices of pets of late. People really milking people’s need for company at the moment. Seen puppies for £800+. |

^ I really wish people wouldn't put animals on websites like that, it's so dangerous for the animals. (Not meaning to be a party pooper but I've heard some really worrying stories.)

Far better to go to a pet rescue place where individuals are thoroughly vetted before they can take an animal home. |

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)
^^ You're right age shouldn't be an excuse, by all means not all older people have those attitudes anyway I'm not sure why some insist on holding on to bigotry.
^ That's what I've heard too and on the other end animals for sale could have been stolen. People really should go to rescue centres if they want to adopt a pet I agree. |

Yes, it does concern me as well to be honest. That's why I've never used my dog as a stud because his pups would be worth a fortune and I don't like the idea of having no control over where the pups go. |

Hopefully it starts the process of eradicating the cruel breeding farms & dodgy private sellers. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/l...-puppy-farming |

Bought some miniature heroes for the first time in ages to find that they've changed. I prefer the old ones. They've stolen the chibi picnics!
