Hello everyone.

I have joined up because I want to talk to people who understand me and can hopefully share tips with me on how to get my life sorted out. I am agoraphobic and it is ruining my life. The reason I don't go out is because I feel that everyone thinks I am a horrible person and I feel that I don't look very nice. I feel like I am insulting other people by leaving the house. I fear outdoor spaces and I fear people. I think it has gotten worse over the past couple of years as I have avoided work since August 2011. I have seen 2 CBT therapist's and a psychiatrist but neither has helped me. I still feel awful about myself.

I feel my life slipping away and at 27 feel that I have not achieved anything. I graduated in Psychology but feel my degree has gone to waste. I have a job which is due to start soon once I have been cleared on ref's etc but I am absolutely terrified about going. I think I am lying to myself thinking I can go. I have had over 25 jobs as I leave them and it needs to stop.
