Well, I haven't finished it yet! I didn't really hear anything about it because I don't often hear about things, so didn't realise it was written by the guy playing the main character.

I think I have one or two episodes to go. So far it's been gripping and then it turned quite terrifying. Knowing it is based on real events makes it scarier.

So only things with Jack in the title? Hehe

I did watch Hanna all the way through, but that wasn't particularly amazing. I dunno what it is about stuff on Amazon. I forget about it.

I watched Baby Reindeer the other day. It was well acted and they did a good job in exploring the greyness of it all. Where you got to see all of the trauma colliding and then to see the fallout afterwards. It was worth watching, but certainly not a chuckle.

^^^ And to think the real case all started from an innocuous conversation in a pub.

I've also been watching Fallout, which was surprisingly good.

I finally got around to Fallout and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was wondering if I was biased as a fan of the games but actually that would probably make me more likely to be extra-critical ('no that's not how it should be!' 'that makes no sense!').

Absolutely loved the first and last episodes, did feel it fell off slightly in some eps but still enjoyed them. Ate up all the lore and backstories, especially anything to do with The Ghoul but that wasn't a shock to me.

Also binged Red Eye, usually I find ITV dramas that have a premise I like annoy me with the pacing of the series as they drag it out way too long, but I really enoyed this. It felt suspenseful enough while fairly quick to give you at least some answers each episode. I was in a good mood though so maybe benevolence is clouding my judgement

3 Body Problem really intrigued me at the start (love a bit of sci-fi-esque stuff especially with a mystery element) but it went a bit ITV for me (trailed off at the end) and left me a bit disappointed. I'll probably still watch subsequent series though, but not waiting with baited breath.

Shogun on the Disney+ is good. One series, ten episodes, done. That's the way to do it.

I've been watching Goodbye Earth on Netflix. A bit disappointed if I'm going to be honest. I think I watched about 30 minutes of the first episode and it wasn't doing it for me. Then it occurred to me that I wasn't seeing enough impending doom action! Although don't get me wrong, I love humanity. I also long for the day when we all get along. And I especially don't like seeing anyone get hurt. That being said, this TV show is an asteroid tease! In fact, I had to skip past 10 episodes just to get a good glimpse of the asteroid! At which point, I was like, ooh err!!!! Now we're talking!

Anyway, there's only one episode to go and I might watch that episode when I've finally cooled down!

Crash Landing on You, a K-drama on Netflix. Not for the faint-hearted, this romantic drama tells the tale of a wealthy South Korean woman accidentally crashing her paraglider into North Korea and her subsequent attempts to escape the Hermit Kingdom while falling in love with an NK soldier. Something for everyone on SA-UK with this one, including several mentions of BTS, although the episodes (16) are all 1 hour 20 minutes long for fark’s ache.

I have only one more episode left on Fallout TV show and I don't want it to end. I haven't enjoyed a show this much in a long time. The character development and attention to detail from the games is just so good. There's a lot of love gone into this series.

It's also got me playing Fallout 4 and 76 again. My workshop is yet again full of Abraxxo Cleaner and Wonderglue.

I wish I could feel the hype for Fallout, but after finishing the series, it really didn't do much for me. Certainly looks the part, but I found it a bit dull, especially the Vault 33 plot.

I'm now watching The Deuce, which has an absolute banger of a theme

I did! Though it'd have been nice if they'd dug up Spudgun and Dave Hedgehog instead of a bunch of unrelated comedians I've never heard of. Nice to see Dick Head looking well though.

^^

I'm about 20 years late to the party but The Shield just started nightly on Dave/UKPlay streaming.

One episode in, I see why it won loads of awards and had a lot of hoo-ha around it.

Lots of bigger boy language in it so if you want to watch it you must be eighteen!

Only thing I watch regularly is Gogglebox. I watch more YouTube than TV.

Blue Lights - series 2

Only 2 episodes in, but it's already really gripping TV

Just every bit as good as the excellent first series.

I've been watching Greatest Events of WWII in Colour on Netflix. I think I'd prefer it in black and white!
