My partner when he doesn't put his clean clothes in his wardrobe, he'll lay them out on the spare bed and leave them there.
He can do this in his own house but when we move in together....ooh by crickey, things will change |

People that pay to win and people that excuse their behaviour.
Businesses are supposed to make as much money as possible, so adding pay to win makes sense but pay to win wouldn't be an issue if weak willed people didn't take advantage of it. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
The way modern documentaries / factual shows are generally made today.
They often start off telling us what happened in the last episode. Yes, I know because I watched it. They then tell us what will happen after the break, and then they***8217;ll tell us what***8217;s already happened after the break. And ALL in a VERY dramatic and OVER-emphasised way like we are FOUR years old. Thoroughout the programme is some background music, even when people are talking, which makes my brain hurt. In certain places, many camera shots are about 2 seconds long, which also makes my head hurt. Some programmes with multiple topics start talking about one thing, then say ***8220; we shall find out what happens later ***8220;. No, tell me NOW! These sort of programmes do not need background ***8216;musak***8217;, and more often than not they don***8217;t need a voiceover as they usually just repeat what a ***8216;talking head***8217; has just said. Some recent examples have been The Secret Life of a Zoo and Old People***8217;s Home For 4 Year Olds. Thanks Stephen Mangan for repeating what you***8217;ve already said about 10 times. I often watch old documentaries from the 1980s and 1990s on YouTube and they are much less of a head-****. This is one of many reasons I rarely watch traditional TV |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
Explain the irony?
What I'm saying is weak willed people with fragile egos spending money to gain an advantage over people that choose not to spend money to gain advantage is icky. Any win they make is invalid as is any sense of achievement and as I said it removes enjoyment for the worthwhile people, so it's a lose, lose. Quote:

Surely there's no cheating going on, the ability to spend money and get an advantage is by design, it's part of the rules. What do you expect, some kind of hippy-dippy socialism? |

They are technically not cheating since it's built in, but it does show they they are disgusting humans. Imagine the kind of things they do to other people in real life, given they are willing to behave like this in a game where the result is if no real importance. |

Only three of the eight lights in the workshop actually work, the others all need attention but, being 15ft high makes them well out of my reach |

When DIYers (or even poor quality decorators) use ordinary gloss paint on radiators instead of the proper enamel paint, it never looks good, it usually ends up being permanently sticky and it stinks when the radiator gets warm the first few times.
It's just cheap and lazy. |

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)
There's a woman at work that puts things she washes up on the draining board the right way up instead of upside down, so pools of water just sit in the cups and bowls. We also have a holder for draining cutlery, but instead she just puts them randomly on the draining board.
