Microhabitats.

Very quirky Korean film which I don't think got any screenings outside the festival circuit. I was totally charmed and touched by it.

8.5/10

Being a bit ill lead to watching a few too many films this weekend.

Coneheads, Back to the Future 2, Lion King, and Return of the Jedi.

Jingle all the way

As a film in general I guess I would give it 4/10, as a silly film for kids at Christmas I think it was pretty ok, maybe 7.5/10, I quite enjoyed it.

Not a fan of Arnie in general and he was his usual self here. I would say David Adkins as the postman saved this film quite a bit, I also enjoyed the creepy feminist style neighbour (Phil Hartman).

Something I did notice, as someone who doesn't watch TV/films or read any books/news/media, is how much violence is in this. It does make me wonder what effect it has on our kids to normalise violence and show it as mostly non-consequential.

Rainmaker - Matt Damon, Danny DeVito, Jon Voigt etc.. quite enjoyed it,. 7/10

was surprised to see a younger Claire Danes (from Homeland) starring in it too, so funny to see her with a different accent and playing such a different part.

I seem to be really drawn to courtroom dramas for some reason,.
