Re: Comedians you like/dislike
I don't change my opinions much.
I like russell howard, michael mcintyre, sarah millican, jimmy carr, and probably some more that I've forgotten. I dislike milton jones and miranda hart - find them both completely unfunny. |

Re: Comedians you like/dislike
I dislike Ross Noble, Eddie Izzard, Russell Howard and Billy Connolly. And Jack Whitehall and Alan Davies.
I pretty much like everyone else who's been mentioned. Mine haven't changed much either. My ex was obsessed with Russel Kane but I couldn't stand him but recently he has grown on me a bit. Miranda Hart has grown on me too a little actually after really hating her for a while. One that I have loved for over 15 years is Frank Skinner. |

Re: Comedians you like/dislike
My all time favourite comedian is Frank Skinner i also like Lee Evans, Lenny Henry & Eddie Izzard.
I really dislike Michael Mcintyre (im puzzled as to why he's so popular ), Dawn French, Jack Dee, Jimmy Carr, Peter Kay (always uses the same material) and the old comedians like The Two Ronnies & Morecambe & Wise (I just dont understand what people are actually laughing at with the older comedians like two ronnies etc, ive seen their shows odd times and just dont get whats funny atall , i couldnt even force a laugh ) |

Re: Comedians you like/dislike
I hate all comedy. Especially observational comedy. There's nothing funny about life. It's shit.

Re: Comedians you like/dislike
What's all the fuss over Frankie Boyle? It's like when a toddler shouts the same naughty words over and over to get a reaction. It's not funny (after the first five minutes) but it's hard to get offended by it. He was the best thing about Mock the Week but then that's like being the most talented Pussycat Doll. But he has no structure to his act. Obviously, he's playing a character. I think it's much worse to say you don't mind most of it but then when X is mentioned you think that's going a bit far. Accept it all for what it is or none of it. If you want to see it done properly - Jerry Sadowitz has a DVD out soon.

Re: Comedians you like/dislike
Kinda surprised at all the hate for Frankie Boyle, I think he's superb and Tramadol Nights was damn funny, the gritty version of Knight Rider was amazing...
It was hit n miss but I'd say more hit, nice to see someone take a chance like that with some crazy ideas as oppose to the usual generic stuff we see. I enjoyed it anyway... I haven't heard enough of his recent material to comment in terms of anything he might have said about disabled kids etc I must have missed all that I'm glad we've got him and there's a place for his brand of comedy on mainstream TV |

(ok, so he has a few good jokes, but why not try developing them into an act, rather than say things in a disjointed sequence) |

Not that I don't find some of his jokes hilarious and admire his writing, there's just something evidently annoying going on, must be the posh accent and the big floppy hair lol |
