Besides all the roundabouts, there will soon be another reason to avoid Milton Keynes.

Went on a date last night and went bowling, anxiety bloody nightmare, kids running around, loud shit music, rave lights, not being good at bowling.

It was fun though, I was shaking because I hadn't ate. It was really refreshing to see people any shape or size or race just having a great time out and about.

Cool, any news on another date?

I went swimming with my crush again this afternoon. She obviously enjoyed it enough last time to want to do it again. It was great to start with because we had half the pool to ourselves so we could chat but then the school kids turned up and it went a bit mental and it got harder to talk. I am not going to over-analyse it though, I've promised myself.

Bit late didn't realise what id done until earlier but last Saturday at the scrapyard for the first time ever i haggled over a price and on Sunday i took the dog off the main path onto a desolate path. which for someone with sa sounds silly getting away from people but the achievement part was not panicking about getting lost in the middle of a forest and the dog enjoyed somewhere new to sniff.

^^ I'm seeing Saturday for thai food, it's going to be awesome.

I will eat a little before the meal so I don't like an alcoholic going through withdrawal symptoms

^ ^ I haven't been on many dates, they're pretty terrifying for someone with SA, that whole level of not being able to predict much or rely on autopilot.

I don't have a large enough group of friends to get dates naturally so I did get a date or two online but with my battered self esteem.. I can't be bothered with it anymore.

I kinda like being single.

Oh yes single life is definitely good! Unless you meet someone right - and it sounds positive that you're meeting this girl for another date. Did you first make contact online? Tbh I would find it more nervewracking going on a date with someone I hadn't met 'in real life', than someone I'd swapped numbers with - so this must add to the anxiety hugely

^ yeah she seems nice, SA sufferer too.

We met on match (worst dating site ever) if it does get to the point where it could get in a relationship, this is when I'll be anxious..

Due to my self esteem I just think it's one big joke and how Jeremy Beadle is going to jump out from behind a bush one day. I'm trying to stay reserved

I'm not much of a sharer but I agreed to do something at the end of the month that is one of my biggest fears. I felt sick after agreeing to it. I don't know why I've done this. Work is hard at the moment and now I've got this sense of dread hanging over me.

But....I suppose it's something. Go me. Maybe.

^I'm wrestling my first alligator I knew this day would come. I don't know why I agreed to be honest. I look like I'm in shape but I'm not. I fear for my safety. I'm fragile. Just ordered a rubber alligator from whatabellend.com to practice on.

I'd almost rather the above was the case but it's not. I'm getting on stage in front of a lot of people. I've agreed to it to be nice to someone who is going through a hard time. I feel sick. Ah well. Karma better come a knocking.

I'm afraid not Jam. The idea is almost preferable to what I'm really doing though.

Yes, I can back out. I'm playing guitar for someone that needs backup. A singer I know, she has been let down. I'm really trying not to back out.

Dont back out, think of the positives of doing it.

^ Nice going, CEB. I hope you requested to keep the lopped off hair - could make yourself a small fortune from it, I imagine.

Thanks man. I'll try And well done on getting your hair done. Have you been shaving it or letting it grow?

But if the whole idea is making you ill and you suspect you'll do a runner at the last minute then cancel now. Nothing is worth that amount of anguish and you should definitely not consider it a failure on your part. More like common sense if those are the circumstances.

Hey look, this is my son, Dave, making love to his ego on guitar...

Thanks for the reply man.I've had all sorts going through my head. Mostly ways to get out of it that won't reflect badly on me. Even injuries (to myself!) I'm ashamed to say.

I'll take your advice and just think of arriving at the venue and no more. It's not easy. Found out yesterday that it's not 100% that we have a slot. The singer agreed to the gig late in the day so we may have to turn up and if everything goes to plan time wise, we get a slot. This is worse for me. I'd rather know.

Ah well. There are bigger things to worry about I suppose. Thanks again man. Cool video by the way. Is that really your boy? You done well there

Well two weekends ago my oldest sister was telling me about a book she wanted and i set myself the task to go into town to the book shop and get it for her as a present and to do something i really wouldn't like but was good for me. Unfortunately first i went to waterstones and found it had moved from the shopping centre so i made myself walk through town to find it, which i did. I had a look for the book but couldn't find it and typically there was a sexy geeky girl on the till and no other staff so i bottled it and went home. That was last Monday and ive kept putting it off because an allergy has made my arms bright red and nasty and i felt really self conscious especially as i was bullied at school because of my eczema. Yesterday i finally forced myself to reserve a copy so i felt like i had to go this afternoon regardless of how shitty my arms looked, i forced myself to do the 40 min walk to town to get it. Typically this time there was 2 pretty women on the tills but i managed to get the book and after i went shopping for a few bits so i could use up the veg left in the fridge that's gonna go off soon.
