I've lost a few lbs. Im now 11st13. Which is ok as I'd like to stay floating around this weight. Any heavier and it seems I carry unwanted fat.

I actually thought exactly the same thing..like wtf, this time of year of all times But I know why it is. Depression. I've been slipping into a mild depression lately (I know this because of the way I feel when I first open my eyes in the morning). Depression always (without fail) shifts weight from me.

I really believe the actual depressive mood can actually shift weight from you alone. Though I have been eating less aswell (i think). Oh well.

I listened to the whole trilogy on audiobook. About 60 hours in total and I loved every minute. The first book is good but they get better and to really understand what Stieg Laarson is trying to get at in terms of modern sweden you have to read/listen to all three.

Also on my top 3 list in the winter holiday reading thread.

Don't recycle them and give them to someone else. I used to have a need to finish books even if they were boring. I complained about it once to a colleague who told me 'life is too short to read crap books!' never read one since

Tis good, the first chapter or so was lots of business talk I think that went over my head, but then it gets to be one of those blockbuster ooo must-keep-reading books. A few nasty violent bits in it :/ but written in a distant enough way that didn't have much of an effect on me. My bro's got the trilogy, it hasn't made me want to read the other two straight away (but that's probably just cos it's not a book i'd normally chose, and there's other stuff i'm keen to read at the mo)

Yeah I broke it up by reading other books in between - don't think I could cope with that much violence or psychological trauma all in one go! But do go back to them - the third one is the best in my opinion.

^^ some local shops will stock them because they dont go out of date, you can more or less guarantee a supermarket will have em, and chemists sometimes have em as they are used in hearing aids
