I am the one? I downloaded an mp3 way back in the kazza days it's got the name of the song as "the idol" so someone must have mis-labeled it wrong, serves me right for stealing music I suppose.
but yeh, it's an stunning song, pretty powerful. The smiths "how soon is now" lyrics are gold and Tool's "the patient" and "Third Eye"

I keep coming back to this one of late. There's no great beauty in the lyrics but they certainly do speak for me. They go with a sort of feeling of anger towards my tutors who I seem to see in a parental way (odd I know). I crave their approval and also see them as having some sort of responsibility to me beyond what they do really. I've changed a lot on my course and they don't seem to acknowledge it, but I want their validation somehow.
And it makes me think of the illusion of adulthood. We cut the cord that brought you here We left you on your own We filled your head with wild ideas Our beliefs led you on...
