Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
I have Sweden in my work's sweepstake, which I have been told is almost as bad as getting England

Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
^ Sweden seem like a steady sort of team, though they probably won't get far.
Well, that's settled then: Saudi Arabia will go home with zero points. |

Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
Iran might take a thrashing here, it's all been Morocco so far...... ..... they best score 2+ cos i've just done a fiver on 'em!

Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
It seems the moment i backed Morocco was the same moment that they became shit. They've gone from absolutely dominating/all attack/bound-to-score and then swiftly to very erratic
Iran could nick this. |

Yeehaa! Well done, Iran!
As soon as that freekick was given i put a quid on the double chance (either way) @9/1 |

Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
Loving how there's football on at weird times all day.
Watching France vs Aussie. Love Griezmann, one of my fave players. France probably have the best squad in this world cup, but hasn't looked good as a team. |

Sloppy play from Argentina, pissing about, misplacing passes. |

Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
I'm in favour of VAR, just so long as they don't dither too much. It's been fine in this match.
Was there a controversial VAR decision in the France game? |

It amazes me that a team with Messi, Aguero and Higuain are struggling in attack.

Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
Yeah, they've been frustrating in an England kinda sense, struggling to create, totally unimaginative, hopeless passing with no thought ...
Meh, there you go - final whistle |

Peru vs Denmark next, then Nigeria vs Croatia tonight. This is the life.

Re: Anyone looking forward to the World Cup?
It's tough, man - are all these games 90mins long .. ??
Have you thought about blackmailing your daughter into watching the footie with you? Like, for each match, you could tell her to pick a team to support and then say if they score you'd give her some sweets |
