Smile [smiles] Hi

Hello Everyone,
It has been a while but I would like to start using the site again and checking in to say hi and see how everyone is doing because it really helps!! Just to hear how others are getting along, the ups and the downs, makes me feel comforted. I haven't got a diagnosis of SA but have a history of depression which is now well controlled with medication. I work and I am also studying for a foundation degree.
I am able perform at work and do not have time off, however, the knock on effect of 'putting on a brave face' at work often results in migraines in the evening, or evenings of coming home at 5pm and falling asleep on the sofa while husband has to take care of son. This doesn't happen too often, I would say twice or three times a month? Is that really bad? It is something I would love to overcome but so far no joy. My body just seems to shut down. I am also someone who needs an exceptional amount of sleep, no amount is ever enough .. or is it just that I feel so safe and protected from the world in my bed? However, the world is passing me by and I am too shy/scared to take a big part in it.

Hmmmmm ... I am in a pondering and profound mood today! Anyway, I just wanted to say hello again and re-introduce myself so to speak.
x

Hello.
I'm currently trying to beat the comfy bed too and trying to get up at a reasonable time. No luck so far though unless I have a set occasion to get up for. Can you get alarm clocks with taser arms attached to them?

love the idea of a taser-clock!! I have severe blanket-grip every morning, but particularly at weekends when I haven't got to get to work, and the thought of writing an essay is surely enough to make anyone want to roll over and go back to sleep!
