^^ Hope your anxiety eases up soon newbs
I'm feeling awful this morning. Suffering intense pain above my eyes and across the bridge of my nose. As always, what started off as an insignificant mild cold has developed into the worst bout of Sinusitis ever |

Re: How are you feeling physically?
My sinuses are feeling a little clearer tonight. I was rather dubious when my husband suggested that I shove a vic stick up my nasal passages but it really does seem to have helped.

The nurse practish has put me on antibiotics.
They're the ones where you have to take them four times a day on an empty stomach. One hour before food or two hours after. I can't live like this. |

Re: How are you feeling physically?
Has anyone ever had heel pain for months on end? It's specifically the tendon above the base of the heel that pains, especially in the morning. It's been like this for around 6-9 months. It's not anything that impairs me apart from limping about for a bit at the start of the day. I can feel it there sometimes during the day, but only barely. NHS inform mentions plantar fascia, "a tough and flexible band of tissue that runs under the sole of the foot. It connects the heel bone with the bones of the foot". It's most probably this.

Re: How are you feeling physically?
^ yes, it’s always linked it to the shoes I’d been wearing. When it attacks I have a foot bath, give my self a massage. You can also use tennis ball or a bottle to roll under your foot to stretch it out. There are also spiky rollers but they just tickle me too much
It hasn’t happen for a long time. Sometimes it felt like I had a bone sticking out from the bottom of my foot when I walked along like my feet are excited about something. Freaked me right out! When it happens to me it lasts no longer that two days. If it’s continually happening, I’d change your shoes or think about what you wear when walking around the home. Also the GP can send you to the podiatrist and they’ll sort you out with some exercises and advice. |

Re: How are you feeling physically?
Nasty. That sounds different to what i have. Mine's been constant - there's no coming and going 'attack'. I wear various footwear - work boots, walking boots, hiking trainers. I don't wear anything at home. It's at it's worst first thing in the morning, which matches exactly what the NHS inform site said, and it's only affecting one heel. It said something about a possible cause of damage, micro tears. It might be one of those things where the damage only really registers some time after the event e.g. jumping down off something. It's my dominant foot so i probably, almost certainly, lead off on it jumping up or to use it to land on.
The exercises may help. It's more that i'm waiting for it to go naturally. I'm just wondering how long these things can stick around for. |

Like I'm 73 instead of 37!
10 years ago removing the gearbox from a truck would have been a walk in the park, not so these days. I've pulled muscles that I didn't even know I had. |

Re: How are you feeling physically?
Please could I ask if anyone takes medication for anxiety, as recently I feel quite on edge and was wondering if trying something will make me feel better.
I've did try Cbt a while ago but didn't complete the course due to the pandemic. Sent from my SM-A530F using Tapatalk |

Re: How are you feeling physically?
^ I've started doing yoga on a Saturday morning and that's been helping with relaxation, as the weekends are when I'm most anxious!
Today I went to a health food shop to see if they had any natural remedies. I bought some essential oils to dab behind my ears, on my neck and on my temples. It comes in a rollerball bottle. I've found that exercising and yoga has really helped. Plus talking to people because I have intrusive and obsessive worries. So it helps to talk through it and receive some supportive challenge to those thoughts. If you ever want to talk through anything feel free to message me x |

Re: How are you feeling physically?
Looking into reasons why my right arm has stopped swinging so much whilst walking and seeing quite a link with Parkinson's. I must've noticed this well over a year ago, but haven't really thought anything of it, just something to Google sometime for a bit of morbid curiosity. It is weird. I sometimes catch myself doing it/not doing it and then consciously match it up with my left arm swing for a bit... until i think about something else. Like i say, it's been like that for over a year, not got any worse i don't think - it functions as well as it ever has... but has stopped swinging so much when i walk.
