Default Contacting people on friendsreunited

For some reason I decided to contact a few people on there. I don't really know why. Has anyone else ever done this? I paid £5 last year because I had lost contact details for an old friend, so today I decided to make the most of my money, only now I'm wishing I hadn't, not that I expect any replies, two of them haven't updated their profiles for 3 years, one for 2 years.

I think I said I won the Euro lottery on my profile. I was intending buying the local football ground and turning it into a car park. The problem is that if I alter it then my profile gets highl;ighted as being altered so others can look and see what's happened to me.

The only people that have contacted me in all the time I've been a member has been one person mistaking me for someone else and a newspaper looking for dirt on an actress that was in the year below me at school.

Yeah I contacted a few people out of curiousity to see what they're upto, which kinda seems a bit creepy since I didn't have any friends at school.

I'll just try and pretend that they'll be happy to have been contacted, if they ever find out.

I was thinking of contacting one old friend yesterday, so I had a look on the site, but it's now £7.50 to join (I think). I only want to contact about two people maximum, so dunno if it's worth it!
