Peter. I've always hated my first name - it's ok on its own, but joined with my surname makes me sound like a cartoon character. However, I can't use my middle name because it's my dad's name. It's a tradition in my family - I've done the same for my eldest son, although I've given him a first name I've always wanted!

marjorie margaret ..when i enroled with a course,the course advisor said after i had told her my middle names 'oh your parents couldnt of liked you'..so i just sat their and smiled and thought 'oh...i like my middle names
 ' cause they are names of my aunt and nan who are no longer alive
