Problems accessing the site

For 2 nights in a row this site wouldn't load for me yet I see posts on the forum during the times I couldn't get on. Most other websites worked for me during this time too.

Has there been a problem with the site, do I have some kind of virus or is BT messing me about? I plan on running full scans today anyway.

I have discovered that if I use a proxy website I can access the site (thanks for the suggestion Ren).

Can anyone explain what the flip is going on here?

Just thought I'd add I am still having the same problems, the site absolutely refuses to load. I am at the site now via a proxy, which isn't too bad, as long as they aren't secretly stealing my details or whatever.

I have run every virus, adware, malware, spyware, whateverware test I can think of and while it found some things, they weren't connected to this problem it would seem. My firewall settings have never been altered but to test I turned it off for a few minutes, no change. I have a fully up to date anti virus program running all the time too and scan every object.

It's ver' strange.

Hi Marley,
What do you mean 'dead'? I've not seen a problem and the logs for 'serious' problems shows the last outage as a week ago.

We're on a shared server which means our site's performance varies a lot depending on what the other sites on the same server do. That means time-outs and slow service some of the time, unfortunately.
