In a hotel room in Shepherd's Bush (bush bush bush bush)

My view from the window is a little playground presumably on a rooftop across the way. I hope when I checked in they didn't size me up and assign me the nonce suite.

She is fine, thanks, and wolfed down her breakfast later. She's very fluffy and swallows a ton of fur while she's grooming which I think is the main cause of her sicky turns. Why she always chooses to do it on the carpet rather than the bare floor I don't know.

Aw, sorry to hear your puppy was car sick and that the humans have been poorly too. Hope you are all feeling a lot better now

Worrying, worrying, and worrying, that's what I'm doing right now

^^ I've had an abnormal liver function test before, it turned out fine. Try not worry to much (easier said than done I know) it may be nothing.

Trying to rid the smell of bin from the klounge while getting my head around an experimental design I'm definitely making more complex than necessary (to those in the know, 8 conditions isn't too many, right???).

Was trying to give Who Killed baby Gregory on netflix a go but the narrator is annoying and with the semi muted french dialogue underneath I'm finding it hard to get into. Might try again some when.

Guess I'll give The Irishman a go instead.

Sitting in the living area of the new place my parents are renting for a little while until they find a house in the area. I may want to stay here forever:

Trying to work out whether things like 'I feel lucky to spend time with you' and 'I'm worried you're going to get bored of me' are just words with little more than instrumental purpose.

Does not compute with questionable self-esteem.

I'm currently raging at Ideal Home because these paper tree decorations are anything but f**cling simple to make.

I just spent a good while browsing vegan chocolate treat recipes and have decided on Vegan Sweet Potato Brownies since I have most of the ingredients.

I also made some rice milk, which is not good.

Now I'm going on my rowing machine, then shower and sleep (well that was sad, only managed 4k, was coughing up mucus the whole time. Must be ill).

About to start my overtime shift working from home

I mean I've already done 10hrs at work today but...why not do a few more tonight (this is what happens when you have literally no life - at least I'm on overtime rate)

urh, careful with that, it sounds like you work quite enough already.

I'm drinking a latte and reading a good book.

^ I find myself in a bit of a situation where no one else can do my job who currently works for us and theres not really any available time for me to get someone in to help me/train them.

We are a manufacturing company of quite bespoke things so theres literally no one who could just "step in" without a good few weeks/months learning what/how we build stuff.

Kinda hoped it would have died down nearer xmas, it seems to be getting worse. I did another 4hrs last night and I'm not making any bloody headway

I've made it clear I will not be doing anything over the weekend...so I think now I'm about to have a damn nap
