It certainly turning out to be the month for famous deaths. David Bellamy and I just noticed the singer from Roxette died yesterday.

Just filled in a last minute online poll and apparently my answers most align with the promises in the Green Party manifesto. Maybe that's the one I should be voting for then

Number 10 Downing Street doesn't even have a keyhole, but Boris lives at the flat above number 11 (as has every Prime Minister since 1997) so he might carry keys for that (not sure).

A few months ago I decided I needed to expand my musical horizons so I’ve been working my way through Rolling Stone magazine’s top 500 albums ever. Is it irony, coincidence or fate that today of all days I got to a Smiths album - crushingly miserable and disappointingly right wing.

Why is Boris addressing the nation like an extremely drunk man talking to a dog?

Wondering how badly mum's going to take the news that I'm going for a jog with my brother in the morning.

She was actually extremely well behaved today, didn't even make single nasty comment towards either me or my brother. Was a very nice day.

I got myself a helper at work now

Apparently my boss was getting concerned at my work load and mental health (I didn't think I was rocking back and forth in the corner dribbling but hey)

I'd been doing 60+hr weeks because I didn't want the """"help""" (headache) of getting help..but hes gone over my head anyway as he has a friend out of work

I'm wondering what I can give someone who has absolutely no idea what we/I do ..to make them useful to me..without them pestering me every 5 minutes

^Yeah, they did the same with me, giving me one of the bosses wives. Luckily we got on quite well, so was nice to have a little friend around, but she mostly got in the way and slowed me down. Productivity actually went down noticeably and mistakes went up.

Get them to bring you cups of tea and snacks! They can fan you when you're hot or bring you warming things when you're cold

Surreal moment of the day. Amazon delivery driver knocks on my door with a parcel, asks for proof of ID and address. To be fair he seemed as confused as I was at the words he was saying

^^ That's brilliant maybe you could try going somewhere very easy and familiar the first time? Or ask someone to be with you.

@ AireleeBray- Aww I'm sure once you have got into the car and turned the engine on everything you've learnt will quickly come flooding back to you. Try to go out at a quiet time, perhaps very early in the morning, and have someone in the passenger seat for support.

Struggling with feelings of uselessness and thinking how I can help a loved one who I fear is sinking into a deep depression

I had this scenario too I ended up going out at 6 in the morning on a Sunday, admittedly in the summer when it was light.

It's just a case of going to quiet, familiar places and slowly building confidence if you can.

^ Thankyou all, I tried asking my mum but she wasn't keen i might have a little go driving up & down my road but I'd feel such a idiot.
my road is a dead end Street that's off a busy road with loads of cars parked either side so that's worrying

I've been thinking back to nearly five years ago when I properly joined the forum, I'd come to terms with losing a close family member, felt quite optimistic and was making real progress SA-wise. Feels like the total opposite of myself right now, I can't snap myself out of it.

The guy I peer mentored a while back has been sectioned sadly. I'm thinking about going to see him tomorrow in hospital as his family don't bother with him, some other ppl and a couple of staff from mind have been to see him. Just need to get over feeling anxious about getting there, finding the place etc.. It's a fair old trek.

Have just been to see him . Dear me. Initially I though oh he looks bright and his speech is back to normal, but he wanted to take me into a visitors room and when we started chatting it was apparent by the conversation he is seriously unwell. Sad to see him so upset and scared, he rang the police last night because he was convinced they were all trying to kill or harm him. He is also convinced it's the meds that are making him unwell. I'm guessing he's going to be in there longer than the 28 days section.

Has made me feel quite depressed, selfish of me I know.
