^ Ignore. Definitely!! Would be too creepy to admit you 'knew' them!!

^ I would and have done the same. If I see someone I know before they see me I will generally make my best endeavour to avoid them. I've been known to go in a direction I really didn't want to in order to not have to pass someone and say hello. The worst is if I'm sitting on a bus and someone I only know casually gets on. If I could shrink under the seat I would! Instead I pretend to have found something intensely interesting out of the window. It's silly, because 10 times out of 10 the person has NO intention to sit next to me anyway!! It's just somehow easier to be ignored if you can pretend you hadn't noticed the person yourself!

It's my eldest's birthday tomorrow, I get so panicky and stressed about people's birthdays, I don't know why.
CBT woman still hasn't replied to my email so I'm panicking about that too.
The tiniest hint of stress and all my instincts are to hide from the world somewhere and cry God knows how I've survived this long as an adult when I still can't cope with even the smallest things.

^ Thank you
I think it'll be the last birthday he spends here before he moves so it feels kind of sad for me, everything feels sad to me lately though :/ It's just all changing and nobody needs me anymore, which is a good thing really I suppose, because I'm no use to anyone.

I can believe your sons are old enough to move out, you look too young.

^ My youngest already moved out and lives with his girlfriend. They know that I'll miss them terribly, I wouldn't tell them about my own fears though, I'd never want them to feel guilty or responsible for me. I'm incredibly proud of them, they're both already so much more than I've ever been. Their lives are just beginning and I'm happy for them, it's not their fault that I'm broken, it's just something I don't know how to cope with but I have to.

It would have been my dad's 80th birthday today. It feels weird not to see him. Spent the afternoon curled under a duvet on the sofa.
They also transferred into my account money from his closed HSBC accounts today. That feels weird too and for some really unknown but ridiculous reason makes me somewhat anxious.

Don't forget antumbra also

I seem to have no friends at the age of 30 soon to be 31 and I only have myself to blame because I am the way I am, I wish I could change.

I thought antumbra sounded a bit too much like an elderly female relative.

Oh you're still a young pup, I thought you were way older than that. Friends are hard work, or we are hard work, I know I am.

Even this place is making me feel old. I went away for a while and came back only to find all the 'regulars' are gone. I keep stumbling on old posts from 2013 for example and thinking, OMG, I remember him, and whilst they weren't really 'friends' it still feels like I've lost some.

Sometimes feels like this is SAUK II and I'm a bug leftover from the old SAUK I.

Where did they all go?

I'm sure someone hit fast forward once I hit my 30's I haven't managed to do a single thing outside of work in years.

I'm now officially closer to 32 than 31 (by 1 day) and I'm yet again terrified

(I'm aware I may be one of the younger posters in here but I can't say it helps me stop feeling like shit about it )

Well I live in a town so I've got the usual options

but I don't really do stuff om my own so I go out to work, come home and hibernate in front of my PC and thats basically my life

Cinemas are good, no pressure to talk...seem to be bloody expensive these days though!

I'm thinking how weird it is that the last time I posted in this forum I was 26. Feels longer and almost like it was someone else posting.

I can totally relate to that. I've been sitting here all day thinking I literally have no reason to exist.
