She has another appointment with the Vet today. I'm sure some people would think 'what's all the fuss about, it's only a cat' but in my view animals are so much nicer than humans and even on some of my darkest of days she manages to make me smile with her funny quirky ways. She's also such a loving and affectionate soul. She really is the best.

Joined back on ig, haven’t used it much. But again feeling some urge for approval from certain people I will probably not get it from. As I’ve been happy without too much approval the last few weeks though I also feel like learning to let go and not crave approval.

But maybe it’s cause my younger teen cousin who talked to me about lgbt issues has stopped messaging me daily and I’m starting to feel alone again. An aunt who lives in Nigeria but has her daughter living in the uk, I’ve only met her once, also asked me to check up on her by WhatsApp. Lately she seems distant that it hurts. I’m wondering if I did something wrong or am a “nice guy.”

My cat hasn't improved, despite ongoing antibiotic treatment, so the Vet is going to refer her to a different practise where there is more equipment available to investigate further. I've been reading that just an MRI scan can cost as much as £3,500 (and that's before treatment) so I'm extremely worried about the financial implications. She's 8 years old and potentially has a good number of years left to live and she's my precious baby.

It's all so stressful and I'm hoping for a miracle


@ amara - As someone who obsessively craves approval from others I know how hard it must be for you not to seek out your cousin's approval but I'm thinking that if they are someone who is worth having in your life then they will accept and respect you far more for being the real authentic you, even if it means that you'll sometimes express different opinions and disagree on matters. From my own personal experience, seeking validation from others can only ever lead to hurt and disappointment.

^ aww your poor cat let's hope a specialist vet can find the cure. They're very good! Shop around though because that's not a correct price. Our dog had all sorts of things and it didn't come to that price and she's a big dog.

Awful aches and pains, the humid weather and an overactive mind have meant that I didn't sleep well so I feel like death today - accept when you're dead you supposedly don't feel anything so I'm unfortunately feeling very much alive but in a totally crap way.
