2 episodes into Westworld. Don't watch much TV, but this had turned out to be unlike anything I've seen and it's interesting.

Catastrophe is brill. I fancied the husband before I started watching it but now seem to like him less... I'm not really sure why. Something to do with the pitch of his voice when aggravated possibly. Intense Chris on the other hand...

I watched the first series of The Expanse and it was alright-ish. It's seriously lacking in interesting characters, so although I enjoyed the political intrigue and whizzbang spaceships, I never really gave a toss what happened to anyone.

Apparently I should watch Black Sails?

I finished Westworld today.

There's some great acting in it and some not so good characters in it. Hopkins' lines are delicious. I can't really talk about the others or it would spoil it. Lots of twists.

Talking of spoiling it, quite a lot of the scenes in the real world are stupid and generic sci-fi poop which could've been better, but inside the park you can't fault the action except that at times the story can be really confusing and you can almost lose what's happening. Also, too many plotholes to count, but we're talking about robots stuck in Groundhog Day.

It's essentially about finding yourself and what I get from it overall are a lot of questions about consciousness and life and it can be unsettling.

I recorded Peter Kay's 'Car Share' last night and watched it just before I went to bed.

I was worried it would lose it's sparkle but the first episode of the second series last night basically takes carries on from where the last series left off. If that episode last night is anything to go by, it'll be another series well worth watching...

Not much makes me laugh on TV these days and barring the first series of 'Car Share', the last thing that made me laugh was 'Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere'.

Anyway, there was a line on Car Share last night that did genuinely make me chuckle. I don't want to spoil the run-up to it in case anyone is still yet to see it but there's one line where he says "This is a car...not a coaster"!

Yes, yes you should, unless you're easily offended by bad language that is, as the f-bomb and c-bomb are dropped pretty liberally. It's an hour or so of escapism, the characters are engaging and personally, I find Zac McGowan and Tom Hodder not displeasing to the eye.

DS9 is the best Star Trek.

Which means Crossroads is the best soap, I suppose.

I haven't watched anything with Graham Norton in it for years, but doesn't he go 'ERRM!' immediately after telling a joke as the audience laughs? It makes me irrationally angry when comedians do that.

I've been binge watching Oz. Up to season 4 now. I forgot just how unrelentingly bleak it is.

Funnily enough my partner said that he didn't think the accents were very strong because he can't understand some of my family, but did fine with everyone on the show. I find Scouse accents for tv are really toned down.
