Thinking I should get some moisturising face cream to combat the flakey dry skin on my forehead and around my nose I'm always waking up with. I'm not sure if I'm ready to become a Moisturised Merritt though...

It might add literally seconds to my going to bed routine

one of the most disappointing things in life is when you realize everyone around you doesn't share none of your interests and has a completely different taste in pretty much everything. more like they dislike everything you like, and you also are not interested in most things they like.

i have always liked kiosks that barely has cold drinks/water/coca-cola/wafer biscuit/candy/gum/cigarettes and stuff like that more than big supermarkets. they always look cozy, especially at night, especially when they pop up all of a sudden in almost an abandoned/less crowded place where you think there's no one you can buy something to drink from.

that is also one of my recurring dreams actually.

^ it’s almost certainly time to start incorporating a sliced banana, ready salted crisp and salad cream sandwich into your diet, Chess. Failing that, find your nearest Budgens and scoop an artisan pizza from the chiller cabinet.

That being said!

No bank statement, no plucky!!!

Oh and as for Justin Lee Collins. A controlling guy who loved his cream! Certainly not a chuckle! Or another way of putting it, no bank statement, no plucky!!!

I'm thinking that sausages are over-rated,...
Although this minority opinion is based on experiences from shopping at Lidl,
So, I guess I could be converted back to thinking that sausages aren't as meh as I first thought, if I bought some Spanish chorizo from a Manhattan deli or something

speaking of food, i'm wondering about earth's population today if it weren't for nitrogen fertilizer.

edit:
it's weird indeedhow the entire world is forced to recognize tsylor swift as the greatest most talented human being ever walked the earth, yet you probably never heard of a villain mf you literally (there's a good chance you literally) owe your life to

i would love to have the confidence of someone who has like a lisp when he says certain words, but he is convinced everyone else should pronounce the words the way he does because it's actually the right way.

How my grandma actually uses triangulation. She told one of my cousins that I haven’t contacted her, but then why doesn’t she just contact me, I would speak to her. There is always someone that has apparently done something very bad in the family when I have seen her. Also when I met her one of my cousins the golden child was noticeably treated better, like he was special. She doesn’t really listen to me. There was an older cousin my mum had said she treated poorly and when I visited her my aunt made this cousin cry by saying “I don’t need you.”

That really does sound very familiar Amara. I do see how much the dynamic within my own dysfunctional family has changed completely since my mum died, ties between many are broken now, irreparably so. I am quite happy to have no contact with some, limited contact with a few and a no tolerance policy to malicious gossip with those I still keep in touch with. Blatant favouritism shown by our olds can be so divisive and lead to much bitterness and I've seen in others how harmful the effect of that can be to overcome. I guess we are all a product of our environment and the sooner we take control of our lives the easier things get. It feels liberating to be free of those loveless familial bonds now that I'm older and to have found love and acceptance from extended family and friends who share the the same attitude to life as myself. .
