Clique war! I'll grab a rusty chain and we'll rumble at the old pier, say midnight? One rule, Not the face! I have enough obstacles :0

There will be lots of cake and chocolates in my clique, who wants to join?

there is a small clique which probably puts off some new people, but it keeps the forum going and would be pretty more dead without it.

Yeah it used to be very cliquey, lots of meets, lots more drama too.
Young people don't go on forums, that means we get natural attrition as members use FB and meetup.com and other sites, not many new joiners, and the remainers just grow old together, evolving into a state of quieter serenity (hah)
I never was invited into any cliques, so I was basically just laughing at all the in-jokes from the sidelines like this :

Well I was kind of thinking of an 80/20 split on the cake and chocolates (80 me, 20 between everyone else) so the midnight brawl would only be over 20% of the total of all that good stuff, just so everyone knows before going ahead

I think that online forums in general have died as a way of communication.

Back at the dawn of the internet, every site worth its salt had a forum, from bands to TV Programmes to news. I guess that writing things is an old form of communication and people prefer to chat online in different ways or by WhatsApp groups, SnapChat etc.

^ Haha this is totally me in social situations.

It's a shame the forum is less active though, hope it never completely dies.

I think it's a nice place, I posted somewhere else recently and was a bit shocked at how harsh some people were.
