It's my birthday and I feel... not much of anything, really. Not necessarily in a bad way, just completely uninterested. Like it's the anniversary of the first time I wore blue socks or something.

Should I order a pizza as a birthday treat? I could rearrange the pepperoni into a big 38.

Hope your birthday was/is a good one

I'd be feeling disappointed if I'd allowed myself to put my hopes up but as I didn't I'm feeling nothing much. A mental health trainee person phoned this morning to do another assessment. She asked the usual questions such as, was I feeling suicidal, did I want to self harm etc, gave me the number of the Samaritans, and asked me if I'd ever heard of CBT. I almost laughed - I haven't lived in a cave for the past 20 years! Anyway, she said she is going to initially refer me for grief counselling as my mental health issues seem to have become a lot worse since the death of my loved one. I'll now be put on a waiting list and apparently in 2 - 3 months time someone will contact me (probably to carry out another assessment). Hopefully I will have pulled myself together by then and I won't need to bother

^ Grief is a really tough thing to go through, which is why grief counselling exists. I hope it's not too long before you get to speak to someone

I hope you soon start to see some light at the end of that tunnel

After yet another sleepless night I'm feeling awful. The Sinusitis is bad again today and I'm worrying about anything as everything as always. I also desperately need to go to the dreaded hairdressers as I haven't had a haircut since November. I'll soon be able to compete with Claudia. Shaving it all off and wearing a wig would be easier.
