Last week my 7 year old spent the day at her friends house and came home with a new found obsession for K-pop. She's been listening to it ever since. This morning she came up to me and said "daddy, when I'm 10 will I still like K-pop? I really don't want to stop liking it, I want to like it forever".

Something that made me smile (and feel slightly emotional) was seeing a farming friend get all his vintage combine harvesters working together in the same field.
Unfortunately he has terminal cancer and this will most likely be his final harvest which made it all the more poignant.

Today on the way to my dreaded local Tesco I crouched down to stroke a tiny black spaniel puppy (couldn’t resist) and he got so excited, jumping up on me & licking my hands, my SA disappeared completely. I didn’t even feel remotely self conscious in front of his owner.
That made me smile today.
Sometimes it’s the simple things in life.
