dating section = whoahh drama and paranoia galore. no thanks.

Cynic = completely detached from reality in this instance.

people do gravitate towards the animal instinctive desire for alpha males, confidence, being a provider e.t.c

but i think for the large majority of people someone that connects on a deeper level is more desirable, people have hugely varying tastes on what is attractive anyway.

we've been through this before, Cynic, on a different thread, and omgosh is it depressing and completely and utterly wrong, sorry but your just talking about your view of the world filtered through your lens of experiences.

And maybe other people are being blindly optimistic, and somewhere in the middle is called reality

I think that he should be allowed to express his opinions as we all are.

However, his validity continuum is constantly at an extreme. He lacks humility whereas he could use his brain to level out a touch.

He could be a useful addition to the site, unfortunately he is not behaving as such at present, which is a shame.

Ben24 is NOT lacking in manhood.

I have to agree with most people on here i'm afraid Cynic, you're posts are often far too negative and blanket, bit of a shame really since some of the stuff you come out with is very good.

That might be a symptom of your Aspergers though since it seems to be a common trait among the Aspies i've encountered.

A dating section, couldn't people use penpals for that no? Not saying its a bad idea, just a genuine, I think decent point why not?

I got the impression that's what you were insinuating, i just countered it by saying i disagree and that the Ben24 is not lacking in it.

Although i think there's often an element of truth to what you say it does conflict with the evidence and life experience i've had/seen.

I'm sure that, after a group hug at a meet, or something, he'd change his username to "Optimist", and change his nasty looking anarchist avatar to a pink heart.

you are damaging yourself with that attitude, dude. i would quite happily talk to you at a meet, and not in a nasty way either.

theres a cliche i guess, about people being reclusive to avoid rejection. it takes guts to put yourself in a position where you might be rejected...you have to have the self belief to take it on the chin.

i don't think you'd be rejected in a meet...all sorts of nutters (even me!) turn up at them.

c'mere you poor soul
