Went to Paris!

Hi all, Mak and Ren will remember me, and maybe some people from chat. Nice boards!

Anyway, I hadnt been on holiday for four years but took the plunge after much badgering from my BF, and he took me on a lovely trip to Paris. We flew, and everything was so nice and being that distnace from home stopped me panicking in a weird way. I felt so much better for the change of scenery, and would recommend it as you feel like you can do anything afterwards. Am looking at my next holiday now!

It's funny but I always feel more relaxed around people when I am on holiday, I put it down to the fact I won't be seeing them again, so it takes the heat off me.

I agree Shaz, its the anonymous feeling that somehow keeps you protected. I had alot of doubts before the trip and pre-anticipatory anxiety but it was all worth it in the end.
