^ to be fair I have never bought healthy looking pasta, it was an ex. In fact an ex ex. In fact an ex ex ex. the parsley came with the house and no I am not joking. It had a spice rack and I just ignored it until recently when I though, that isn't furniture or structural to the house in any way, I can probably carefully remove those jars without ill effect.

So far so good, one a day until I hear the joists move.

I finally got around to cooking my paneer tikka skewers. They have been marinating since wednesday.

Does anybody else here go off the idea of a particular meal during the preparation or after the ordering ?

I put them on to marinate on wednesday, gave up and havent eaten since. The smell is turning my stomach inside out !!!! In a good way. This will undo all the great moob reduction I have achieved over the last few days.

I love wooden skewers of stuff cooked in the oven because it makes the house smell like a cook up in a sauna.

^ I just cut the paneer into roughly the right shape. Then just mixed up some curry powder (I couldnt get tikka paste) with some fresh chili and a bit of paprika to get them extra smokey. Added white wine to make the marinade.

Then put in a bowl in the fridge and let it marinate for much longer than intended. I meant to do it for about 3 hours.

Then today I chopped up some red pepper and red onion and put it all onto some pre-soaked skewers. They took about 20 minutes at 200 degrees in the oven. Part way through I poured the marinade oven them.

They would have been much nicer with tikka paste but the shop had run out

They didnt last long enough for me to take a decent photo of them, in fact I almost ate the skewers I was that hungry/

^ Sorry!
Your mouth really does look like someone has sneezed out an enormous slug right onto your face though. (In the nicest possible way).
