Partied!
Not only did I go to the party - I went to the pub for drinks beforehand, was able to sustain a few conversations with people I didn't know, and I even danced! It was a slow one and the girl had to show me what to do but that's not the point! When she shoved her tongue down my throat at the end of the song I could have sworn I was dreaming!
Prior to this experience I had been terrified almost to the point of suicide at having to attend. And it was the first time I'd been to a social event like that in well over a year. So for it to go as well as it did is an absolute bloody miracle. While it's plain-as-day that I would not have had anywhere near as much fun without the assistance of alcohol, it goes to show that good things happen when you go for it. |
