Silly sausage, you're meant to put the food inside the microwave, not on top of it!

That's probably why it didn't work!

A new weather station for home, as my last one is slowly dying only had it 8 years! I've bought a good one this time, a Davis Vantage Vue. Should have bout one the last time and I still would have had it working now. Expensive, but all the parts are repairable/replaceable.

Some Glisten Cosmetics eyeliner pots and a brush. They're really cool. You wet the brush with water and then use it on the pallet. I struggle with using eyeliner pens/pencils and get on better with brushes for some reason.

^^ I messed my skin up with one of those unfortunately. Don't go too aggressive with it like I did with long needles

They're so pretty! 🤩

The last things I bought were cat litter, and two of these (best bubble bath ever! It smells like a walk in a crisp, snow-covered pine forest) 🛀🧴✨ (Sorry about the massive picture!)

Frida Kahlo dress!!

I also just bought a pair of roller skates on sale. I had to get rid of my rollerblades and my bike is still in the states, so this will do for park shenanigans.

A carnivorous plant.

I have two different sized Pilea peperomioides and they both got ravaged by fungus gnats! The stems and leaves fell off, so I put Tina (the carnivorous plant) in the middle of them. I was worried that the baby plant was a goner, but thanks to Tina it’s completely bounced back and new leaves are coming up.

I’m renowned for killing plants (I forget to water them) so I’m really pleased that these plants are back in business, especially as they were gifts. Rubbishly, two of the cacti didn’t survive the fungus gnat invasion though.

^ beautiful colour!

Christmas presents for my sister. I ordered her Christmas presents at the beginning of December and the delivery date was 16th of December. However, they kept moving the delivery date forward - several times...until it said a January date. I emailed to see what was happening and they said the parcel had been lost or not delivered and they offered to resend it. Eventually the company cancelled the order towards the end of January. So today I finally got her some replacement gifts. (I did get her some other gifts for the actual day.)

I got my very first car! It's soooo cute. It's a 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman. I can't drive it yet, but my husband seems to enjoy it!

^ That is odd... nightclubs have been open for over six months now with people free to sing, dance and shout in each other's faces. I suppose it must be a policy the individual funeral venue decided to continue with and not a national guideline. It's a shame places like that aren't running as they used to be though.

Well done for going and getting through it
