Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
Thats it. I'm going AWOL from all communication til frid - reason being GP check up about daughter. In any case I don't have any cash til thurs so if i go out for walks it'll be taking sandwiches with me. But really I'm so floored by current events that I wont be heading out tomorrow...or even thurs and at least until frid afternoon. Looks like it'll be another online food shop around thurs. so the nbors can f-off assuming there's no food in the house. Often considered smashing up the mobile phone the last few weeks but I dont suppose that would solve the current social mess even though we've avoided agencies kicking in again. Don't ask me how but I did it. The thing about small towns is its so laughable and obvious who's been 'reporting' it and i dont mean those who know me online.

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
Headachey and anxious. Rang to see if my dad was being discharged (they had said Friday then Monday) and the ward clerk told me no he's not going home but the consultant wants to talk to you and took my number. So sat for 1/2 an hour thinking all sorts.
It wasn't what I thought but it was still the kind of conversation you don't want to have. He asked me what my dads quality of life was like in the care home. And that we need to be prepared for him having more infections (he's a carrier of some kind of bacteria in his colon apparently) and I need to think about when it may be fairer to stop treating him. Asked me what I wanted to do. I've told him to continue with getting him stable enough to be discharged and he agreed. He's optimistic that that will happen. But I may need to make a difficult decision in the future. Really wish I had siblings. Or anyone for that matter. |

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
^ I'm sorry to hear about the difficult situation you are in with your dad's care Mo
I hope he gets back stable again and that the infections stay away, no doubt one day I may be in a similar situation, being an only child really sucks at times. Thinking of you x |

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
I've been having one of those days where if it could go wrong it will.
Mellowed out somewhat going to vol job. I had warned her I would be in very late - 11 am ish but had to txt her to say gonna be really late, did she still want me to come? No reply. So I decided to turn up anyway around about 12.30 (this doesn't sound significant but in the past I would have been an anxious wreck doing that without a clear 'yes, come along'). Sat chatting with the 2 owners for ages and ages who were getting ready to go out, then went off and finished up the cats. Everyone had gone home so it was lovely being there by myself. Very relaxing. Bout the only plus point to the day! Plus the little kitten has opened it's eyes today |

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
Looks like I've been laughed out of town. I could see it happening last two terms at every turn but was powerless to stop it. Its not nice and makes me trust people even less now. As a result I'll likely be doing more online shopping now...or equally a midnight flit within the next two years. The main culprits are....you've guessed it....sleeping for all day today and us both shattered...again. People dont care anymore.
15th birthday to get through relatively sanely at the end of next week. I'm ignoring the who's going to be going with her scenario - she'll learn who to trust as well as time goes on - I'm afraid even as mum I cant fight that battle for her. I can advise from a distance but that's about it. |

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
I really hope you find your sons teddy, hopefully someone is looking after it and can give it back at a later date. You're a great mom and the teddy going on an adventure is a lovely story.

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
another online delivery due this afternoon. i dont care anymore what folk in this street think of that usage. mastercard will however start complaining but I figure £100 overspend is ok in a situation like this for various necessities and I'll pay it back at the end of the month. i aint saying whats being smuggled in either.

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)
God damn hormones Instead of stomach cramps I have been knocked out by tiredness, proper aching exhaustion. Been sleeping off and on all bloody day. I've got so much I should be doing but keep having to do stuff in little spurts. I'm too hot too. And the TV is rubbish.
