I worry about letting things like apps or whatever have permission to access all my shit on my phone. Going into someone's Phone is like having access to their diary these days! No way Jose.

Jack Whitehall stealing another idea from a better comic, and presumably making a killing out of it.

HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT

The bafflement that overcomes some people who answer the door whilst on their phone, who can't grasp the concept of telling the person on the other end that they'll 'just be a moment, i've got a parcel to sign for' and then putting the phone down for no more than 20secs to do so.. !

That spotify thing really is a pain in the arse

my new car talks to my phone with the android connect thing so I leave spotify on my phone and just play it through the car...I find myself having to skip tracks all the time as its playing whatever the hell it wants

At least I knew where I was with my cd's!

You can play full albums just like you would a CD. You can turn off autoplay in the settings.

Sorry just saw this. Another comic had a skit about his grouchy, fuddy duddy old dad, and even had a long sequence where he'd go on holiday to various places. Usually to yoof destinations, to humorous effect.

Your mum has a point...surely you should be getting the student price?

Noticed my phone is in need of a charge now too.

Yeah this is the problem I have too, random crap playing and having to constantly skip past it all. I gave up using it in the car and went back to mp3 cd's with tracks sorted into folders. Couple of taps and the song I want is located and playing

Are you telling me the most annoying feature of Spotify can be disabled by turning this off? I just have and will give it a try again.

I quite like the feature, for example today I played The Chain by Fleetwood Mac and then it continued to play songs of a roughly similar type, which I quite enjoyed.

What annoys me is when I make a playlist and it mixes in other songs that are not in my playlist. The biggest annoyance though would be the lack of ability to thums down/avoid a track.

Can you cancel your subscription and then rejoin as a student on their website?

I think you need to have some proof of student status ID (sounds fancy but it's basically just a student card or something like that) which I don't have. I only have my Young Scot card which they don't accept...

I hate emailing people so much!

I appreciate spotify is trying to open my eyes (or, well..ears) to different music but given the state of its "weekly playlist" it keeps adding to my list I think I'll be turning it off! (I did not know it could be turned off, spotify is one of the few things I've never gone raking through the available settings)

Pandora was great at that it always suggested decent, related artists

That kinda sucks.

E-mailing is a lot easier than dealing with things on the phone to be fair.

True. At least I'm not gonna have to phone them - they probably wouldn't believe my age from my voice alone either

I do think spotify is quite poor on UX/UI in general, for example I can't see a list of recently played songs, so if I hear something I like, I have to go add it while it's still playing, but I often realise I like a song a few songs later, when the song is still stuck in my head.

As far as the tailored playlists based on your taste, they were really good at the start when I was mainly listening to one genre, but now I've had time to listen to all the kinds if music I like, they seem confused.

I would like the ability to generate a song queue based on the songs in a playlist, but not including any of them, so I can discover new songs of a similar style to add to that playlist.

People ordering things without paying for express shipping, then messaging saying 'can I get these for tomorrow'. It happens all the time. Yes, you can get them tomorrow, if you go back a day in time and check out selecting express shipping or go back 2 weeks in time and order using standard shipping. Ohhhh 'It's for a loved ones birthday' (get this one all the time too), you clearly don't love them that much if you are ordering their gift the day before their birthday and choosing not yo pay for express shipping right.
