12/7/12 and, apparently, it's going to be the best day of the week. Bad planning. Housework should be done when there's an impressive thunderstorm.

A sharp shower came down two days ago when I was mowing the lawn. I was so annoyed - brilliant sunshine when I went out - I finished it. Damn the risk of water and electricity. (Hope the mower and extension lead are all dried out when I next use it, though. Such a embarrassing way to go.)

Yeah after a couple of mates heard about my story they all went in lock down during storms

I guess things must have improved with safety and whatnot, no one bothers anymore and my current routers survived many years!

^ yes a lot is said on TV about the rain, but no one seems to mention how cold it's been. I was krazy enough to sleep with a window open last night and it was bloody freezing by morning ***8211; in mid-summer! Madness. Quite chilly now come to think of it...

^ can you add some of that cold to my traveling? the whole walking, bus and train combination is so bloody warm. Tbh don't think it's been cold at all, not that I'd leave my window open at night, I like to be able to sleep (eventually ).

Yay it's raining now just for a change.
Although i like the snow, i hate when its really cold cause it's uncomfortable. However the cold somehow makes my mood feel relaxed i think, maybe just cause ppl don't go out as much cause although i don't like rain i feel less sa walking in it as not many ppl walk in the rain.

Well it's finally making my room hot, does that count as weather? Rather than the just warm it sits at for the rest of the year. But wonder how bad it'll be on the days I actually have to go out as not like there's any sun atm. That said still disagree with the majority it seems in. I'd say its better than it being cold, I hate having to wear layers of stuff and still to be bloody freezing as it doesn't keep me warm. I'd rather feel too hot than numb anytime (really I'd prefer neither but still). Only time I like it being cold is on a mon evening, its the perfect way to cool off after badminton.

My scalp, although well covered, was burning yesterday when I was queuing up to see Mirror, Mirror. Best thing about the film: there was snow everywhere! I came out to a heat that disorientated me.

Today, should have gone out for a walk at 6.00 when I originally woke, but still cool enough to mow the lawn.

thunder storms.

I was driving home earlier and where I was was sunny and I could see the clouds and rain ahead. And I love that bit where you drive into it and it goes really dark just before the rain hits.

I also like standing in my bedroom when it's dark with the lights off and watching the lightening patterns.

Is something nervously exciting about thunder and lightening

It is unbearable hot. Came back from walk with hair hanging in sweat at 9.00ish. I would love a magnificent thunderstorm. As long as I remember, people have said, 'Someone's getting it'. How I wished and still wish the eye of the thunderstorm was in my area.

I hate it when on the weather forecast they talk about the steaming hot weather as if it's something really great. Ok so I have to accept it is for a lot of people, but not me and not many others. Even people who like it will later moan about how it's too hot. On the forecast this morning there was this girl grinning all over her face as she said how "lovely" it would be today. "Just right for doing sports", she said. WHAT???? Am I the only person who sweats? Hot weather like this is the complete opposite of what I want for doing any kind of sports! I also don't see it as a "lovely day", as it's too hot and humid and uncomfortable. As for sun-bathing - Well not all of us are comfortable laying half naked under hot sun thanks.

Oh dear, I seem to be ranting a lot this morning.
