I can see what you're saying but instead of calling the sound chavvy, I call it more street style like, I like how the sound of 2 step kind of suits the more working class society.
You should check out future garage, the sound doesn't sound as street and apparently it is put in the more of the IDM category, although I like future garage it can never beat this ole 2 step garage in terms of rawness.

I guess, Im not really like that though, im just middle class and a bit boring, not gangsta or swag at all lol.

Back in the 90s garage never had the tough guy MCing etc, it was more like house music, just happy and upbeat. I miss those days.

I'm not like that either, I'm working class but definitely dont appear like the tough chavvy lad

I guess I associate street with informal. It would be nice if it were like the 90's again though I dont remember those times. I guess gangsta rap was associated with chavvy then but I use to like gangsta rap.

Middle class ain't boring, it's easier to get more things and experience more things since you have more money.

THought I'd put something a bit different up. Was up at an old friends place earlier this weeks to help fix his music pc and recorded him on my phone messing around with a new demo he was writing. I quite liked it. Nice,simple and heartfelt. He's not the singer in the band and won't be singing the finished version and I think the last verse was made up on the spot. Sorry for the quality. Nothing special, just a bedroom demo. No title really.

That is seriously good! Very impressed. He should sing, lovely emotional voice
